The courtyard of the Tokyo Jujutsu High training grounds was unusually quiet. Sukuna stood in the center, arms crossed, surveying the second years with a look of mild disinterest.
Yuta Okkotsu stood straight, polite as ever, though his nervous energy was clear. Maki Zenin cracked her knuckles, clearly unimpressed with their new 'teacher.' Panda sat cross-legged, casually eating snacks, while Toge Inumaki leaned against the tree, expression neutral but watchful.
"Alright, brats," Sukuna started, his voice laced with authority, "you've been stuck with me for a while, so don't expect me to coddle you like your previous sensei."
Maki rolled her eyes, unimpressed. "Like we need coddling."
Sukuna's gaze flickered to her, narrowing dangerously. "Watch your mouth, Zenin, or I'll show you what real strength is."
She held his stare, defiant but smart enough not to press further. Panda, sensing the tension, leaned in toward Yuta and whispered, "He's already scarier than Satoru-sensei or Kusakabe -sensei."
Yuta nodded silently, unsure whether to laugh or be genuinely terrified. (A/n: Same bro same)
"First lesson," Sukuna continued, ignoring the background chatter. "You're going to spar. If you hold back, I'll personally make sure you regret it."
Without missing a beat, Maki stepped forward, cracking her neck as she drew her spear. "Fine. I'll go first."
Panda chuckled. "Good luck, Maki. Don't break the old man."
Sukuna shot Panda a glare. "Old man? I'll deal with you later, talking stuffed toy."
Maki charged at Sukuna with her usual intensity, moving faster than the average eye could follow. Her weapon gleamed in the sunlight, aiming straight for his chest. But before it could land, Sukuna effortlessly caught it with one hand, his grip tightening as the spear splintered.
"You're not bad," he admitted, tossing the broken spear aside. "But against me, you're still nothing."
Maki grit her teeth, quickly shifting to hand-to-hand combat, her punches quick and precise. Sukuna dodged her strikes with ease, his movements languid yet purposeful.
"Faster!" he barked, catching her fist mid-air and flipping her onto her back with a force that left her gasping for breath. "If you can't keep up with me, you'll die in the real world." (A/n: Not really)
Toge stepped forward, his cursed speech already ready on his lips. "Sleep."
Sukuna felt the cursed energy ripple through the air, his body reacting instantly to the command. For a moment, his eyes narrowed in annoyance, but then he grinned, a sharp, dangerous grin. "Clever, brat."
He waved his hand dismissively, activating a simple reversal technique to cancel out the effect. "But not clever enough." With a flick of his wrist, a wave of cursed energy pushed Toge back, though Sukuna didn't seem interested in punishing him further. "Nice try, though." (A/n: damn Sayuri, damn)
Panda was next, rolling up on all fours, charging at Sukuna with surprising speed. "Alright, King of Curses! Let's see what you've got against the unbeatable Panda!"
"Unbeatable?" Sukuna smirked as Panda swung a massive paw at him. Sukuna dodged the blow and landed a heavy punch to Panda's side, sending him skidding across the ground. "You're all talk."
Yuta finally stepped up, his cursed energy brimming but controlled. "I won't hold back," he said, summoning Rika. The air around him grew heavy with the presence of the cursed spirit.
Sukuna's grin widened. "Good. Finally, someone worth my time."
Yuta and Rika attacked in unison, the sheer power behind their strikes forcing Sukuna to take them seriously. He dodged and parried their blows, his movements more calculated now, and for the first time, he was genuinely engaged in the fight. "You're strong, Okkotsu, but don't get cocky."
