Logan

I wake up the next morning with the sun filtering through the curtains of my hotel room. My mind is still replaying the events of last night with Charlotte. I stretch, feeling a sense of contentment that I haven't felt in a long time.

Sitting up, I rub the sleep from my eyes and think about our dinner. The way she looked at me, the warmth of her smile, and the easy flow of our conversation—it all felt so right. I glance at my phone on the nightstand, hoping to see a message from her, but it's still early.

Deciding to get a head start on the day, I head to the bathroom to freshen up. As I shower, I can't help but smile at the memory of walking hand in hand with Charlotte, feeling like everything in the world was exactly as it should be.

Once I'm dressed, I grab my phone and see a message from George in the drivers' group chat, discussing plans for breakfast.

George
Morning, everyone! Who's up for breakfast?

Lando
Count me in.

Carlos
I'll join too.

Logan
Me too. Where are we meeting?

As the others start chiming in with their responses, I find myself thinking about Charlotte again. Last night was perfect, and I want to make sure she knows how much I enjoyed it.

I send her a quick message before heading out to meet the others.

Logan
Morning, Char. Hope you slept well.
I had a great time last night.

Putting my phone away, I head down to the lobby where the other drivers are starting to gather. We exchange greetings and head out to a nearby café for breakfast. The usual banter and jokes are in full swing, but I can't shake the thoughts of Charlotte from my mind.

Midway through breakfast, I check my phone and see a reply from her.

Charlotte
Morning, Logan. I slept well, thanks. Last night was amazing.

Her message brings a smile to my face, and I feel a sense of anticipation for what's to come. I glance up and catch Lando giving me a curious look.

"Everything alright, mate?" he asks, a smirk playing on his lips.

"Yeah, everything's great," I reply, unable to hide my grin.

"Got plans with a certain someone?" Carlos chimes in, winking.

"Maybe," I say, not wanting to give too much away but also not minding their teasing.

As breakfast wraps up, I feel a renewed sense of excitement for the day ahead. I'm looking forward to seeing Charlotte again and spending more time with her, both here in Spain and in the races to come.

We continue our breakfast, the usual banter and jokes filling the air. Lando and Carlos are teasing each other about their recent on-track performances, and George is trying to keep the peace.

"So, Logan," Lando starts, raising an eyebrow at me, "you seem pretty chipper this morning. Anything you want to share?"

I chuckle, shaking my head. "Just had a good night, that's all."

Carlos leans in, smirking. "A good night, huh? Does this have anything to do with a certain someone?"

I can't help but smile. "Maybe."

George pats me on the back. "Good for you, man. It's nice to see you happy."

"Thanks, George," I say, appreciating the support.
