The next morning, I wake up to the soft light filtering through the curtains, a gentle reminder that a new day has begun. Logan is already awake, propped up on one elbow and watching me with a tender smile. His hair is slightly tousled, and there's a warmth in his eyes that makes my heart flutter.

"Morning, beautiful," he says, brushing a kiss against my forehead.

"Morning," I reply, feeling a blush rise to my cheeks. I stretch and yawn, savoring the comfort of the bed. "What do you want to do today?"

"Well, since it's our last day before we head to Austria for the next Grand Prix. I was thinking we could spend the day together and maybe go out with Alex and Lily later," he suggests, his voice filled with excitement.

"That sounds perfect," I say, feeling a surge of anticipation. "It's a date."

We get up and start our day, sharing breakfast together. Logan makes pancakes while I brew some coffee, and we eat while chatting about the upcoming race and our plans for the day. It's a relaxing and intimate start to what promises to be a wonderful day.

After breakfast, we decide to take a walk around the city. We stroll hand in hand, exploring the charming streets and popping into little shops along the way. The weather is perfect, and the city is alive with energy. We laugh and talk, enjoying each other's company and the vibrant atmosphere.

By the time we return to the apartment, it's early afternoon. We freshen up and get ready to meet Alex and Lily. I slip into a casual yet dressy outfit, and Logan does the same. As we head out, I feel a sense of excitement building.

We meet Alex and Lily at a nice cafe downtown. They're already seated at a table on the patio, and they wave us over as we approach.

"Hey, you two!" Lily greets us with a bright smile. "How's it going?"

"Great, thanks," I reply, hugging her before sitting down. "It's so good to see you both."

We spend the afternoon chatting and catching up. The conversation flows easily, filled with stories and laughter. Alex and Lily share some funny anecdotes from their recent travels, and we all talk about our plans for Austria. It's a lively and enjoyable gathering, and I feel grateful for these moments with friends.

After the café, we decide to take a walk through a nearby park. The four of us stroll along the paths, enjoying the fresh air and each other's company. We stop to take photos by the fountain, capturing the fun of the day.

As evening approaches, we head to a cozy restaurant for dinner. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and we enjoy a delicious meal together. The conversation continues to flow, and there's a sense of closeness that makes the evening truly special.

"Any last-minute predictions for the race?" Alex asks with a grin as we finish our desserts.

"I just hope it's a good one," Logan says, raising his glass. "To a great race and good friends."

"To good friends," we all echo, clinking our glasses together.

After dinner, we say our goodbyes to Alex and Lily, promising to catch up again soon. Logan and I head back to the apartment, feeling content and happy.

Once we're back, we settle on the couch to watch a movie. Logan wraps his arm around me, and I snuggle closer, feeling completely at ease the stress of the day melting away.

As the credits roll, I start to feel sleepy. I yawn and stretch, my eyelids growing heavy. Logan notices and gently scoops me up in his arms. I murmur a sleepy protest, but he just chuckles.

"Come on, let's get you to bed," he says softly.

He carries me to the bedroom, and as he places me gently on the bed, I feel a wave of contentment wash over me. He changes into more comfortable clothes and slides into bed beside me. The mattress dips slightly under his weight, and I feel his warmth radiate through the blanket. He wraps an arm around me, pulling me close. The rhythmic sound of his breathing lulls me further into relaxation. His presence is reassuring, I can't help but smile softly as sleep finally takes over, enveloping me in a deep, peaceful slumber.
