The next morning, I wake up to Logan coming back from his SIM racing session.

"Are you just waking up?" he asks, a hint of amusement in his voice.

I nod, glancing at the clock. It's already 1 PM. "The jet lag really caught up to me," I say, stretching as I get up.

"Do you still want to go out?" he asks.

"Yeah, definitely," I reply, shaking off the remnants of sleep. "Let me just freshen up."

I quickly shower and get dressed, opting for a casual yet stylish outfit. As I finish getting ready, Logan watches me with a smile.

"Where do you want to go?" he asks.

"I was thinking we could explore some of the local spots. Maybe grab some lunch and then take a walk in one of the parks?" I suggest.

"Sounds perfect," he says, grabbing his keys.

We head out, the crisp London air waking me up even more. Our first stop is a quaint café where we enjoy lunch. We chat about everything and nothing, simply enjoying each other's company.

After lunch, we wander through a nearby park, the green spaces providing a peaceful backdrop to our conversation.

"So, how was the SIM racing this morning?" I ask, genuinely curious.

"It went well. It's good practice, but nothing beats the real thing," Logan replies. "I'm just glad to have some time off to spend with you."

I smile, feeling a warmth spread through me. "I'm glad too."

As we walk, we eventually find a bench and sit down, watching the world go by. It's moments like these that I cherish the most – simple, quiet, and full of contentment.

As we sit and talk, a fan approaches us.

"Hi, may I have a picture with you guys? I love your books and I love F1," she asks excitedly.

"Of course," I say, standing up with her as she hands her phone to her mom to take a picture. She stands in the middle of us, beaming.

We pose for the picture, and her mom snaps a few shots.

"Thank you guys so much," she says, smiling brightly as she and her mom walk away.

Logan and I exchange a glance, both of us smiling.

"That was sweet," he says, sitting back down on the bench.

"Yeah, it was," I agree, feeling a warm sense of fulfillment. "It's nice to see how much people appreciate what we do."

We sit there for a while longer, just enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Eventually, we decide to head back to Logan's apartment. As we walk back, I feel a sense of contentment wash over me. It's been a perfect day, and I'm grateful for these moments of normalcy.

Back at Logan's apartment, we settle in for a quiet evening. Logan puts on a movie, and we curl up on the couch together. As the movie plays, I find myself drifting off, feeling completely at ease in his arms.

Before I know it, the credits are rolling, and I realize I must have fallen asleep.

"Hey," Logan whispers, gently shaking me awake. "It's late. Do you want to head to bed?"

I nod sleepily, getting up and heading to the bedroom. Logan follows, and we both get ready for bed. As I crawl under the covers, Logan wraps his arms around me, pulling me close.

"Goodnight, Char," he murmurs.

"Goodnight, Logan," I reply, feeling his warmth and the steady rhythm of his breathing. I drift off to sleep, feeling safe and loved.
