Charlotte

The next morning, I wake up to the sound of birds chirping outside the window. Logan is still asleep beside me, and I take a moment to watch him, feeling grateful for these moments of peace and togetherness.

As he starts to stir, I smile and lean in to kiss him on the cheek. He opens his eyes and smiles back at me.

"Morning," he says, his voice still groggy with sleep.

"Morning," I reply. "What do you want to do today?"

"Well, I have to go to the factory for some meetings, but I should be back around 3ish," he says.

"Oh," I nod, feeling a bit disappointed. "Okay, I'll find something to keep myself busy until then."

Logan notices the slight disappointment in my voice and pulls me closer. "Hey, don't worry. How about we go out for dinner tonight? Just you and me."

I smile. "That sounds perfect."

We get up and start our morning routine. Logan heads out to the factory after breakfast, and I decide to spend the day exploring London a bit. I grab my bag and head out, taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling city.

I visit a few shops, grab a coffee at a cozy café, and even find a quiet park to sit and read for a while. It's nice to have some time to myself, but I can't help but look forward to seeing Logan again.

As the afternoon progresses, I head back to Logan's apartment, arriving just as he walks through the door.

"Hey, you're back!" I say, smiling as I see him.

"Yeah, meetings wrapped up earlier than expected," he says, coming over to give me a kiss. "Did you have a good day?"

"I did. Just explored a bit and relaxed," I reply. "How were your meetings?"

"Productive but tiring," he says, running a hand through his hair. "I'm glad to be home."

We spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing together, catching up on each other's day. As the evening approaches, we get ready to go out for dinner.

Logan takes me to a charming little restaurant not far from his apartment. The atmosphere is cozy, and the food is delicious. We talk and laugh, enjoying each other's company and the wonderful meal.

"This is nice," I say, taking a sip of my wine. "I feel like we haven't had a chance to just sit and enjoy each other's company in a while."

"I know," Logan agrees. "It's been a whirlwind with everything going on. I'm glad we could do this."

After dinner, we take a leisurely stroll back to the apartment, the city lights twinkling around us. We walk hand in hand, savoring the moment.

When we get back to Logan's place, we settle in on the couch, continuing our conversation from dinner.

"Thank you for today," I say, leaning my head on his shoulder. "It was perfect."

"Anytime," he replies, wrapping his arm around me. "I love spending time with you."

We sit there, content and happy, knowing that no matter what challenges come our way, we'll always have these moments together. As the night goes on, we eventually head to bed, falling asleep in each other's arms, ready to face whatever the next day brings.
