When I wake up the next morning, Logan is still asleep, his arm draped over me protectively. I gently extricate myself, careful not to wake him, and head to the bathroom to freshen up. After getting dressed, I sit back down on the bed, watching him sleep peacefully for a moment.

Eventually, Logan stirs and opens his eyes, smiling when he sees me. "Morning, love," he says, his voice husky with sleep.

"Morning," I reply, leaning down to kiss his forehead. "You ready for today?"

"As ready as I'll ever be," he says, stretching. "You look great in my jacket, by the way."

"Thanks," I say, blushing a little. "We should probably get down to the garage."

He nods, getting up and quickly getting dressed. We make our way to the paddock, the atmosphere buzzing with pre-race energy. Logan's team greets us warmly, and I settle into the garage, finding a good spot to watch the preparations.

Throughout the day, the team works tirelessly, and I can see the determination on Logan's face as he prepares for the race. Despite the media frenzy, we manage to steal a few moments together, exchanging reassuring smiles and words of encouragement.

As the race begins, I find myself holding my breath, every lap filled with tension and excitement. Then, Logan has to retire the car. I can tell he's frustrated as he jumps out and heads to his drivers' room with an engineer.

I look across the garage for Lily, who tilts her head towards the direction Logan went, signaling me to follow him. I do, quickly running across the paddock to the Williams motor home and heading towards his drivers' room. Standing in the doorway, I see him with his head in his hands, race suit unzipped and hanging around his waist.

I knock on the door, and he looks up, nodding to signal me to come in. I sit down next to him, and we talk for a little before he has to go back to the garage. I sit for a minute to give him time to get ahead of me so the media doesn't suspect anything.

When I head back to the garage, I sit with him in the back. As the race finishes, we congratulate Alex, and then they head for briefings and media obligations. I sit with Lily, and we chat.

"Some of us are going out tonight if you wanna join," she says. "It'd be really nice to have you there, and you haven't come out in a while."

"I'll go if Logan wants to. He's been having a rough few days," I say. She nods.

"We'd love to have you there. It's at a club down the street from the hotel," she says.

We continue talking until the boys come back, then we head to the hotel. As I sit on Logan's bed scrolling through my phone, I remind myself to ask him.

"Hey Logan, do you wanna go out tonight?" I ask.

"I was just about to ask the same thing," he says, coming out of the bathroom from his shower.

"Well, okay," I laugh. I take off the jacket, realizing that the outfit I have on is good enough.

"Remind me to come grab all this stuff before I go back to my room tonight," I say, and he nods as he grabs an outfit to change into.

As he does, I grab my makeup bag from my pile of stuff, quickly putting on a neutral look with a red lip.

"You ready to go?" he asks, scaring me.

I nod, and we head down to the lobby to meet some of the drivers. As we walk down the street, I engage with the girlfriends. They introduce me to Heidi, Daniel's girlfriend, and we add her to the group chat as we show our IDs and head into the club.
