Seokmin slowly woke up with one of his eyes open as the other eye continued to be closed, he lifted his left arm to embrace his boyfriend into a hug. He turned his body to the side as his arm hit the messy bed covers.
Seokmin yawned and slowly sat up before standing up to walk down the stairs with his eyes still unable to focus being half asleep.
The moment his foot reached for the last step, he tripped on his other foot almost making his body painfully flop onto the floor.
Luckily, he gained his balance in the process and tried to find Joshua with his one eye remaining shut. He smelled a scent from somewhere and blindly walked towards the kitchen following the aroma.
"Oh? Good morning, love. How was slumber?" Joshua put the food aside and turned the stove off before walking towards his sleeping boyfriend, caressed Seokmin's cheeks softly in the process.
As the younger closed their distance, Seokmin put his chin onto the older's shoulder before falling into his boyfriend's embrace.
"Good morning, Hyung" he yawns before continuing his sentence. Precisely, it was 5:45 am when Seokmin arrived in the kitchen so it was really early for Seokmin to wake up.
"Sleeping felt incomplete without you" The younger pouts his lips as he slowly opens one of his eyelids to admire Joshua.
Joshua raised an eyebrow, lowkey suspicious about the younger's words but he continued listening anyway.
"I wanted to hug you" Joshua's eyes formed crescents after hearing that somehow, finding Seokmin's statements adorable. He ruffled the latter's messy bed air and fixed it before quickly smashing their lips together.
Seokmin's lips formed into a cute curve before pecking the older back on the lips.
Joshua grabbed a fork and poked the plate with it. He then shoved the fork carefully onto Seokmin's mouth for the younger to eat.
Seokmin opened his eyes in shock and accidentally choked on the food. Joshua scoffs and lightly pushes Seokmin away from him and continues to ask him, "How's it taste?"
Seokmin coughs with his mouth full while covering it with his right hand before putting a thumb up with the other hand, signaling the food tasted good.
Joshua got a cup from the cupboard and filled it with water before handing it to Seokmin. The other accepted the cup and swallowed the water, hoping he'd stop coughing.
