I live for the applause, applause, applause.

I felt the air currents outside caress my bare skin where Dimitri took off my shirt. He was pressing wet kisses onto my stomach, drawing long, airy moans from my throat. I panted heavily, bucking my hips to meet his crotch demandingly.

I wasn't concerned about either Rose or Christian finding us- Christian had a extended culinary class tonight and Rose was banned from entering the cells. Plus, Rose was accustomed to sleeping with her mental shields up to block out Christian and I's "nightly activities".

I flashbacked to the first time Dimitri offered himself to me. It was after Dimitri had sent Rose away, and though he didn't show it in front of her, he was quite distraught. I was outside the bars trying to comfort him, and I clearly remembered the biting cold of the iron bars chilling my hands.

I remembered him drawing my head in for a kiss, and the moment of hesitation. "Are you sure?" He had asked. I recalled myself looking into his mesmerising eyes, and feeling so sure. "Yes," I breathed.

Our lips met in a scorching kiss. It was a feeling that I would never forget- The feeling of his lips connecting with mine, his mouth tasting deliciously like mint. I whimpered into his mouth, relishing every moment our lips moved together.

A part of my mind was screaming at me, "Why are you doing this? Christian is such a good boyfriend- why are you cheating on him? And Rose- she just had her heart broken- why are you kissing her ex-boyfriend?"

But Dimitri, the perfect, hypnotising essence of him, had interrupted my train of guilty thoughts, and detached himself from my lips. He gave me a seductive smirk. "Go compel the guards to open my cell. We can take this many steps further," and planted a open-mouthed kiss onto my neck.

And that was where we started our sort-of-dating and sort-of-friends-with-benefits relationship.

I put my attention back to the present, feeling the texture of his slightly chapped lips on my skin. Before I could even react, he had adjusted himself to kneel between my legs.

He licked a wet patch up my inner thigh. My breathing quickened, and I lost myself in the pleasure.

Dimitri's boxers were the only things not off by the time we heard the footsteps.

I ignored them, thinking it was just the night guards- I had compelled them to keep what they saw to themselves. I deliberately moaned into Dimitri's mouth to deliver the point to get the guards away.

But instead, what I heard was a soft feminine gasp filled with shock and heartbreak. Rose. I could recognise her voice anywhere. Dimitri's body, pressed closely to mine, tensed.

This was not supposed to happen, I thought, my thoughts all scrambled with panic. No one was supposed to find out I and Dimitri's relationship!

But not until the footsteps left, soft sniffles marring the silence, did I relax my tensed muscles and slide down Dimitri's hard, toned body.

"I thought Rose was not allowed down here," I said, my voice heightening shrilly with each syllable. "I did too," Dimitri whispered in a harsh, low tone. "But your precious boytoy, Christian was with her,"

"How?" I muttered to myself. "He had an extended culinary class!"

A sudden realisation shocked me. Tonight was our dating anniversary. That's why he probably had culinary canceled- to find me and take me to somewhere special to celebrate.

I shook my head in denial. "No. No," I tried to reassure the both of us. "They would've found out sooner or later. It's just a bit sooner than we had thought,"

He didn't respond in any sort. I continued. "I was already planning to break up with Christian anyways. He's getting a bit too boring and plain for me." It was harsh, but true. Christian was a sweet and caring boyfriend, but he was too bland compared to Dimitri for my taste.

He looked up. "Really?" I nodded. "Yes, really."

He sank to his knees and took my hands in his. "Then- Lissa Dragomir, will you do the honour of becoming my girlfriend?"

My heart swelled- it was a better feeling than when Christian asked me to date him. "Yes," I gasped, pulling him up to plant a giant kiss on his lips. He smiled into the kiss, and the passion was fuelled once more- and spending the night with him, making love was the best option I ever had.
