~Chapter 4: Worry and Fun~

Ash's pov:

It was 6 in the morning when Eevee decided he wanted to jump on the bed like a trampoline . To say I was mad was an understatement. Like why couldn't he just sleep in. Now I'm fully awake packing my things up to leave and of course Vee is sleeping. I could just strangle strangle. I sigh and pick up Pikachu putting him on my shoulder. "Hey Vee it's time to go" I wake Eevee up and pick up my backpack. We walk out of the pokemon center stopping for some quick breakfast.

I didn't bother to say goodbye to my friends because I'd never get to leave at the time I want so I just started walking to Pastoria City. An hour into our walk Pikachu was sleeping on my shoulder while Vee was running through the grass. "Careful Vee there might be wild pokemon in there" I say to him. He runs up to my side and starts walking next to me. I return Eevee and release Charizard.

"He buddy can you fly us to Pastoria City" I ask. He nods so I climb on. Once I'm fully seated I put my backpack on my chest and put the straps around my arms. I put Pikachu in my bag and tell Charizard to fly. He takes off flying into the sky and eventually levels out. About 3 hours later we reach the Pastoria City. Charizard lands and let's me climb off this time. "Take a rest buddy" I say and return him. By now Pikachu was awake and already out of my bag. I put my backpack on my back again and start walking towards the Safari Zone.

Once I get to the building I walk in and request 2 nights in the Safari. The man hands me my safari ticket and it automatically comes with 30 safari balls. "If you need additional safari balls you will have to buy them. Once you return with any caught pokemon I will collect the safari balls and register them under your name" The man says and hands me the safari balls. I put everything in my backpack and walk out of the building and into the Safari.

Pikachu walks next to me looking around for any pokemon while I scroll through the contacts on my phone. I figured it was about time I call my mom. I click on her name hearing it ring for 5 seconds before she answers it.
(Their conversation)
Delia- Hello Ketchum residence Delia speaking.
Ash- Hey mom it's me.
Delia- Ah Ash how is your journey going you haven't called me yet. Where are you?
Ash- I'm in Sinnoh. I'm currently waking through the safari zone with Pikachu.
Delia- Oh did you catch any pokmon yet?
Ash- yeah I caught an Eevee. I also ran into Brock and Misty.
Delia- ah is your Eevee strong or are you going to transfer it to Professor Oak?
Ash- He's quite strong. I'll keep him and see how he grows but I'm not only traveling to battle like last time.
Delia- Ok Ash..... I've got to go Professor wants me to help him feed your pokemon. Call me sometime Ash.
Ash- Ok goodb----
(Convo end)

She hung up on me wow. I sigh and look at Pikachu. "You look bored buddy. Maybe there will be someone to battle soon" I say knowing that we need to battle a lot to keep us entertained. I always used to battle with Gary back home but now I'm in the middle of Sinnoh. I release Eevee to play with Pikachu. I watch them run off into the forest, so I yell at them to be careful. "Those 2 are going to be the death of me" I mumble to myself walking around looking at the peaceful wild pokemon. I call out Charizard again. He huffs at me and looks around expecting a battle. "I'm bored Charizard. I use to travel the world for battles and now I'm just exploring and there isn't any battles. I'm dying here" I rant to him knowing he feels my pain of not battling. "Remember when we first met. You were just a Charmander and now your a powerful Charizard" I say and he just nods,  walking with me. "Well that didn't happen from just exploring and not battling" I pout out. He just blows a puff of smoke in my face and returns himself. "Hey who am I supposed to talk to now" I yell at his pokeball. I sigh and go look for my 2 pokemon.

"Eevee, Pikachu come here" I yell out walking through the forest. I look around trying to find them. All I see are trees and bug pokemon. "Come here guys. Where are you" I yell again. I start running through the forest trying to find them. Eventually I find them but not in the predicament I hoped for. I walk up to them standing in front of them. "What the hell guys. You scared the hell out of me. Next time I call you come find me alright" I say sternly and cross my arms. They nod at me, atleast they acknowledge me. "Now why are you guys playing in mud" I ask dragging them from the mud pit. "Pika pi" Pikachu says pointing to Eevee. I sigh knowing Vee was a trouble maker, but as long as he isn't hurting pokemon it's fine with me.

"Alright guys let's go find a pond to wash up in" I say to my muddy pokemon walking behind me. About 12 minutes of wandering we come across a large lake. I pick up Pikachu and throw him in, then quickly pick up Vee who was trying to turn around. I throw him in watching as the water turned brown from the mud. "Alright swim around for a bit" I tell them. I take my shirt, pants, socks and shoes off leaving me in my boxers and jump in with them. Once I'm above water Pikachu swips his tail through the water spraying it at me.

I open my eyes after I deam them dry enough and glare at Pikachu. I grab Vee and start to comb through his fur with my hands to get the mud off him. "Don't worry Pikachu I'll be after you next" I tell him half heartedly focused on Eevee's fur. Pikachu squeals and swims away as fast as he can. I let out a laugh and dunk Vee's head under the water and go after Pikachu. Once I catch him I hold him underwater for 5 seconds before bringing him up again. I let him go and release my other pokemon. They all jumped in the lake beside Charizard who immediately went back into his pokeball. We were all having fun and before we knew, it was already 4pm.

~A/N- Sorry for updating late. I had work today and it kinda drained me with the hot weather and everything. I'll try to post another chapter today but I doubt it. You'll definitely have a chapter for tomorrow tho. Hope you enjoyed this chapter😊.
