~Chapter 8: Her First Adventure~ (Timeskip- 11 months later) -
Ash's pov: ------------- It's almost been a year since I started my new journey. I've explored Alola and the many things it had to offer that I didn't know about. Lillie and I have gotten together and are about to leave Alola for Kalos. But first we have to celebrate Ashtons birthday. He is 1 now and is so cute. He has Kukui's face and hair but Burnet's eyes and nose. Right now I'm helping set up for his party. It's just a small get together with everyone from the school.
After I finished decorating I decided to play with Ashton. So I'm currently pushing him in a baby swing outback. I slightly push the swing making it go forward a little just to come back and me to do it again. Ashton giggles and I smile. "Ash let's go grab Ashton and come back in" Kukui yells through the window. I pick up Ashton and put him on my hip. I walk into the house and hand him to Burnet. I walk into the living room to see everyone already here. "What's up Ash" Everyone says at the same time. I sweat drop and mentally face palm. "Not much guys just staying here for Ashtons party then heading to Kalos since I've been here for almost a year now" I say taking the last open seat next to Gladion. He narrows his eyes at me which I ignore. "Where's Lillie Gladion?" Lana asks. "Hell if I knew. She was spouting about going on an adventure and finding a bracelet that she took off and finding a dress for Pikachu" He says shrugging his shoulders. I flinch. How did Lillie not tell him about leaving and even worse she doesn't know where her bracelet is. Kiawe seen me flinch and looked at me confused. "Hey Ash care to take a quick walk with me" Kiawe gets up and walks out leaving me no choice but yo follow. We walk down the hill and he sits down, so I sit next to him. "Is Lillie going with you" He asks me straight up. "Yeah I asked her when I got to Alola and she said she wanted to join me. It's not like my old journeys tho. This time I'm taking it easy and not adventuring for battles. Plus I think my girlfriend has a right to decide what she wants to do on her own" I say. "No way man. You actually asked her" He yells in surprise. "Yeah a couple months ago. Anyway let's get back before Burnet has our heads" I say getting up.
We walk into the house again and sit in the same seats. 10 minutes later we were all just talking when Lillie finally walked into the house. " S-sorry everyone I was packing and I lost my bracelet but I found it and then Pikachu wanted a dress so we had to run to the store and we got something else which took a little" She explained quickly. "It's alright Lillie" Lana and Mallow said. She says alright and walks over to us. I eye her bracelet as she walks. Thank god she found it. She was about to sit on the floor between Gladion and I. Well that was until I pulled her onto my lap. She stared at me with a shocked expression. I rap my one arm around her loosely and talk to Kiawe. We talk to each other about Charizard until someone yelled. We all look towards Gladion to see him out of his seat and glaring at me. "What the fuck is this Lillie" He asks pointing to her. "W-well G-gladion" She starts saying before I tell her to stop. "She's my girlfriend. Is there a problem" I say resting my head on her shoulder. "Why didn't you tell me" He demands. "She didn't have to" I say answering him instead. He storms out of the house and Kukui comes in to ask what happened.
The party went well and Gladion got over his mood. I was helping the professors clean up. "Ash you should hurry and pack up so you can at least get halfway to Kalos before nightfall" Kukui tells me. I nod and pack my things up adding only a couple clothes that I bought to my bag. I go down stairs with Pikachu and bid the professors goodbye. I walk to Ashton and pinch his cheeks saying goodbye. I walk to Lillies house and knock on the door. Lillie opens the door with a backpack as big as mine already in hand. "Did you say goodbye" I ask and she nods. "Alright let's go" I say and release Charizard. "Alright Char we're heading towards Kalos" I say and hop on his back. I help Lillie up and make sure Pikachu is safe for take off. "Hold on Lillie. Alright let's go" I say and Charizard takes off flying towards the clouds. Lillies screams until he levels out gliding. "You'll get used to it" I yell over the wind and look at her. She shakes her head and clings to me tighter. I laugh quietly and look straight incase wild pokemon are flying up here.
It's been around 3 hours and we're halfway to Kalos. Though it is starting to get dark so I thought of landing but then got an idea. I spoke to Charizard through Aura and agreed. "Alright Charizard Mega-Evolve" I say grabbing the mega stone. He mega evolves and starts flying faster. We arrive in Kalos 2 hours later and it is now night. "Alright Charizard let's land" I say. After Charizard lands he reverts back to his regular form and we get off. "That was terrifying Ash" Lillie says holding Pikachu. I just laugh and reassure her that she's fine. I return Charizard and let out Lucario. "Alright let's head to the poke center to get a room" I say and we start walking.
"Master what have you called me for" Lucario says through Aura randomly. "For protection of course. We're walking through the woods at night. I know the center isn't far but it's better to be prepared" I say and he nods. I grab Lillies hand and start running receiving a yelp from her. Lucario runs after us with Pikachu. We make it to the poke center in no time and I return Lucario. "Alright Lillie you stay here and I'll get us a room. You can even call your brother if you want" I say and walk towards reception. About 10 minutes later I finally get us a room. I walk over to Lillie and see she's ending a call with Gladion. I wait for her to end it before walking up to her and leading her to the room. I unlock the door and we walk in. "Wow this room is big" I say in surprise. There are 2 beds a bathroom and a walk in closet right next to it. There is a lounge to the left of the room with a tv. There's a kitchen with a small dining table. "Yeah it's quite nice" Lillie says putting her backpack next to a bed. I place my bag on the other bed and get ready for bed. Once we're both in bed I shut the lights off. I ignore Pikachu choosing to sleep with Lillie and close my eyes slowly falling asleep.
