~Chapter 7: Fun Time at the Beach~

Ash's pov:

After getting dinner at Mallows we decided to take a short walk on the beach. So right now Lillie and I are watching Pikachu run through the water. "Hey Ash" Lillie says. "Hmm" I respond still looking at Pikachu. "Why haven't you contacted me all these years. I mean you didn't have to or anything but I would have been nice" Lillie asks me. I turn my head to look at her and notice her eyes look sad. "Look I wanted to I really did but before I just couldn't get that night out of my head and I was to scared to call. Don't get me wrong I thought about you and Snowy all the time" I tell her hiding my face away. "Are you talking about that night Ash. I-i told you that was an accident" She says her face turning red.

(Flashback in Ash's pov)-
School had just ended and Professor Kukui decided to take us all to the beach. So now we were playing beach volleyball separated into fair teams. My eyes kept wondering to places they definitely shouldn't and I saw Kukui give me a stern look. In my moment of not paying attention I ended up being tackled to the ground. My eyes widen when I felt something soft against my lips. I look up to see Lillie on top of me with her lips touching mine. She immediately scrambles off once she recovers and start apologizing. I sat there shocked at 2 things. 1 Lillie just kissed me and 2 I really need to get out of here. I look at Kukui pleading for him to help with my eyes. I move into a more comfortable position on the ground so no one notices. "Alright class it was an accident let's not make a big deal out of it. Let's all head down to the water" Kukui says walking towards the water. Everyone starts running to go play in the water and I get up running to the bathroom to calm down. Once I'm calm I walk back out and sit by the water watching Pikachu play. I feel someone sit next to me and I look over to see Lillie. My face turns bright red and I look away. "I'm really sorry Ash I lost my balance trying to get the ball. It really was an accident. I didn't hurt you did I" She says quickly. "No Lillie you didn't hurt me" I say still not looking at her.
(Flashback Ends)

"I know Lillie and I told you it's ok" I say. "Let's get you home yeah. It's getting late" I tell her and get up offering her my hand. She grabs it and I pull her up. "Come on Pikachu let's take Lillie home now" I yell for Pikachu and start walking with Lillie. Pikachu catches up an jumps on Lillie's shoulder making himself comfortable. Once we get to her house she gives me a hug and runs into her house. I start walking back with Pikachu ignoring Pikachu telling me that I shouldn't have asked her to travel.

Once we get back to Kukui's house I quietly walk in. I don't want to wake Ashton if he's sleeping. I see Kukui sitting on the couch watching TV. "Hey Ash how was today" He asks me as I sit down. "Professor I think I did something stupid" I tell him running a hand down my face. "Like what" He asks turning his attention towards me. "Um well I kinda asked Lillie if she wanted to join me on my journey" I say with one breath. His eyes widen and a smile breaks out on his face. "Ash that's not stupid. Well what did she say" He says waiting for an answer. I tell him she said yes and he punches my shoulder. I rub my shoulder and glare at him. "That's one step down Ash all you have to do is ask her" He says. "Huh ask her what" I ask tilting my head a little. "Why to be your girlfriend Ash. I thought you got over your clueless era" He says and I blush. Oh professor you have no idea.

The next day I woke up to the smell of breakfast. I quickly get down from the loft and run to the kitchen. I see Kukui making breakfast so I ask what he's making. He says he's making eggs. "I'll set the table" I say and gather plates, and forks. I set 3 plates at the table and put a fork on each plate. Burnet walks into the kitchen with Ashton and places him in a pack'n play then takes a seat. "So Ash did you have fun last night" Burnet asks me putting her hair in a bun. "Actually yeah I did. I kinda even got to battle well it was kinda one-sided but that doesn't matter" I say and both of them look at me confused. Kukui asks for an explanation as he places the eggs on our plates. "Well we were at Mallow's restaurant when a 2 shady guys walk in. I fought one with a zubat and Pikachu took care of him fairly quick. Lillie to the other guys out" I say then stuff some eggs in my mouth. Kukui sighs and shakes his head.

After breakfast I went to my loft to grab my pokecard. I walk back to the living room and tell Kukui I'm going clothes shopping since I was staying here for a bit. Pikachu wanted to stay so I let him. I walk out of the house and release Eevee. "Hey buddy Pikachu wanted to stay home so let's go shopping together yeah" I say to him as we start walking. "Vee ve" Eevee says walking next to me. I've only known Eevee for a couple of days but I can feel that we have a connection much like Greninja and I when we first met. We walk into town and head towards the mall. Many people greet us as we walk past an I greet back. This time I have my hair covered and a little facial hair to hide my identity. After winning the Alola league and then becoming Champion had gained me quite a few fans.

Vee and I get to a clothing store in the mall. We walk in and start to look around. "Now Eevee I need shorts since it's to hot in Alola to wear jeans" I tell Vee. He nods and walks over to the pokemon toy isle. I roll my eyes and look at some of the shorts they have. I found pick up 2 each of some jean-shorts, black shorts, and navy blue shorts. I walk over to the shirts and get some black, red, white and grey shirts and tank tops. "Eevee let's go" I say and he runs up to me. I walk to the register and check out. After paying Eevee wanted to go to a pokemon store.

When we got in the store Eevee bounded right towards some hats. He grabbed a hat almost identical to my navy blue one. I take it from him and add it to the basket. "Is that all Vee" I ask and he nods. I walk over to some pokemon jewerly and examine the necklaces they have. Hm I wonder if Charizard will wear his mega stone in a necklace with a charm. "Eh I'll buy it anyways" I say to myself grabbing a chain, a mega stone holder, and a fire charm. We head towards the register and check out again. After spending a lot of money we walk towards the entrance of the mall.

We were almost at the entrance when I pasted a jewerly store. I stop and turn back around walking into the store. "Hello welcome to Gems and Glam how can I help you" A woman popped up out of nowhere and asked. "Uh is there anyway I can get custom jewelry" I ask. "Oh yes. What do you have in mind" She says and motions me to follow her. "If I get a bracelet do you think you could put 12 pokemon charms on it plus their type symbols" I ask having a seat in a chair when we get to a customization office. "So 24 charms on a bracelet. It might be a little bulky. I can split it between 2 bracelets so I can do 12 on each" She says and grabs a pokemon charm bin. "Alright that works. On one bracelet I want Milotic, a Glaceon, a Pikachu, a Braviary, a Arcanine, and a Ninetails. I don't think I want their types in the bracelet anymore so can you also add Greninja, Lycanroc, Eevee, Pikachu, Charizard, and a Lucario. Also the Lycanroc is a dusk-form" I tell her what I want. "Alright I can do that on one bracelet and I'll have it to you by the end of the day today. I'll need an address to deliver to" She says. I tell her the address and I pay her. "Can you make sure it'll fit a woman's wrist. Her wrist is a little slimmer than an average woman tho" I say and she nods. I walk out of the shop with Vee and walk back to Kukui's with my bags.

"I'm back professors" I yell walking into the house. I take my bags up to my loft and grab Eevee's hat and Charizard's stuff. I run back outside and release Charizard. "Hey buddy look what I got" I say and show him the put together mega necklace. He huffs in my face and nods at me. I put it around his neck adjusting the length. "Now it shouldn't come off" I tell him. I return him and Vee and start walking towards the beach. I didn't see anyone in the house so they must be at the beach. Once I get to the beach Pikachu notices me and takes off towards me. Right before he reaches me he skids to a stop yelling his name and waving his arms. I chuckle and walk towards the professors. "Did you get everything you needed Ash" Burnet asks me and I tell her yes.

Later that day it was almost 9pm and I was waiting for my package. About 10 minutes later I see a sparrow diving towards me with my package in its mouth. I grab it from him once he stops in front of me and I rush inside up to my loft. I open the package and look at the bracelet. It has everything I asked for plus a few extra demands on it that looked beautiful on it. I put it back in the box and lay in bed. I close my eyes falling asleep thinking about how I'm going to give it to her.
