~Chapter 12: Poke Performance~

~I'm back guys. Here is the chapter I promised. Sorry it took so long! ~

Ash's pov:

It's been 3 days since we ran into Haxorus's old trainer. Today the Pokemon Showcase and Lillie is forcing me to get ready to go. "Let's go Ash" She says opening our tent. I just groan and roll over covering my eyes with the blanket. "I don't wanna. You made me stay up late and now I have to get out of bed. Why the hell is the showcase this early" I mumble through the blanket. "Shut up Ash. It's not that early we just want to get some food on the way" She says and leaves. "Uhh fucking women" I say to myself and start getting dressed. Don't get me wrong I love Lillie but sometimes she's a little too much. One time I went to bed early and she woke me up saying she was to bored to stay up by herself.

I walk out of the tent and my pokemon run up to me. I return all of them except Pikachu to their poke ball. "Alright guys lets go since you want food the lines will be long" I say and start walking. They jog up to me and start walking. Lillie grabs my hand and I look at her offering her a smile. "Pi pika Pikachu" Pikachu says excited to see the pokemon performance. "Calm down buddy I know it's been awhile but they aren't as fun to watch as battles yeah" I say and he nods. Lillie laughs at our conversation and let's go of my handb to talk to Bonnie who's been surprisingly quiet. They start whispering to each other but I can't hear what they're talking about and I don't want to. For all I know they can be talking about some pretty cruel things. I go on my phone as we're walking because I'm bored. I get a message from mom and I respond to her almost instantly. "Lillie have you text your brother since the last time you called" I ask tilting my head to look at her. She shakes her head no ands tells me she'll call him when we get to Lumiose.

After a 2 hour walk back to Lumiose we head to the poke center for Lillie to call Gladion. I leave the girls there and walk out of the poke center. I stand in line at a food truck knowing it will take a bit. 5 minutes later I finally get to order. After I order us waffles I stand next to the line in the pick up line. "Order 215!" Someone shouts from the window. I walk up and grab the food heading back to the poke center. I walk next to the girls and place the pag by the computer. "Hey Ash" Gladion says through the screen. "Hey Gladion how's things over there" I say and he tells me that everything is going fine. I hand out everyones food and Gladion bids us goodbye and hangs up. "Alright eat up so we can head to the showcase and get our seats" Bonnie demands and devours her waffles. "Bonnie your going to get fat eating that fast" I say with a short. Her eyes widen in horror and she chugs a water bottle like it's going to do something for her.

Once we're done eating we head over to the showcase. We're 20 minutes earlier and the fucking thing is still packed. "Are we even going to find seats" I ask and it falls upon deaf ears as Lillie and Bonnie spot Serena. "Pikachu" He says and squeals hoping off my shoulder and running towards her too. "Ugh here we go" I whine and walk over to them. They were talking about the showcase when I got to them. "Hey Ash. It's been a long time hasn't it" She says hugging me. I awkwardly hug back glancing at Lillie hoping she wouldn't beat me. Once she let's go I take 2 steps back and hold Lillie's hand. "Yeah it's been awhile" I say. "It was nice to see you Serena maybe we can meet after the showcase" Lillie says. Serena nods and walks off as we do the same.

We finally find seats in the middle row. I'm literally dying from being in such a small space. My legs have grown in the past 11 years and they're suffocating. The showcase started and the first contestant was a girls name Ria. She had a deerling and made a beautiful forest performance. In my opinion throughout this thing Ria had the best performance. Serena came on stage and the crowd roared. I heard Bonnie yelling in my ear and thought I was going to lose my hearing. She called out her Delphox and Sylveon. Sylveon used fairy wind as Delphox used Will-O-Wisp and they created a beautiful scene. Once the performance was over people started screaming and clapping. I groan and cover my ears. After all the contestants were done their performance they waited on the final vote. "The winner is Serena Yvonne!!" the announcer yelled. Everyone started cheering. "The runner ups are Ria and Molly" The announcer said. People cheered for them. The three stood on stage getting awarded medals and Serena got a trophy.

Once most people have left Bonnie wanted to stay to talk to Serena so Lillie and I headed back to camp. I left Lucario with Bonnie just in case she comes back to camp in the middle of the night. Once Lillie and I got back to camp we started a fire. I grabbed a chair and sat down. Lillie sat on my lap and snuggled into me. "This is nice. Maybe we should take a camping trip just the 2 of us in the next region" Lillie says looking at me. "That's fine with me after all it's your first journey and I'll do whatever you'd like to do" I say and kiss her. She kisses me and we break apart a few moments later. "It's your birthday next month Ash" She mumbles. I hum rubbing her back staring at the fire. "I know" I say and burry my face in her neck. "You'll already be 21. I'm still 20 and will be for another year" She whines out. Oh yeah Lillie only turned 20 right after we left Alola. "You'll be fine it's not like you can't drink with me" I say. "Yeah your right. That reminds me..." She says and gets up. She walks over a cooler and I watch her wondering what the hell she is doing. She comes back with beer. "You snuck beer. What if Bonnie found it" I say surprised she would do that. "Well she's not here and plus I need a fun night" She says sitting back on my lap. "You just had a fun night literally less than 12 hours ago" I say and roll my eyes. "Plus it's not even night out. It's just hit 3pm" I say and grab a beer from her. She rolls her eyes at me and pops her beer open and I do the same. I sip the beer and sigh, it's been awhile since we drank.

An hour later Lillie and I definitely are drunk between the beer and Liquor. "Uhh defntly gonna have a fucking headache tomorra" Lillie slurrs out. I laugh at her speech knowing mine isn't any better. After a couple hours it was already dark out. Lillie was sitting on my lap humming a song as I watch the fire crackle. We were both still drunk off our asses but Lillie wanted to stop drinking so here we are. "Bed" I groan my head falling on her shoulder. She laughs at me and gets up. She hauls me up and I stumble over to a gallon of water. I pick it up and dumb it on the fire. After I was done putting the fire out I stumble to the tent. I get inside and lay in the air mattress with a Huff. Lillie comes in and lays down ontop of me.

~A/N- Sorry I haven't updated in a couple days I just have been drained with work and my family but here's a chapter. It literally took forever to write because I kept on stopping to read some stories and I got by a storm today so my internet went down and I couldn't update. But don't worry I finished it.
