~Chapter 6: Battle Up~

Ash's pov:

Professor Kukui invites me in. I step in the house and admire how much has actually changed. "Wow a lot of things has changed since I've been here Professors" I say amazed. "Yep it had but wait for the real change." Kukui said walking into the kitchen. I tilt my head confused on what Kukui said. I walk into the living room noticing they still kept the loft that I used. "Kukui what real change are we taking about. Did one of my pokemon leave or did something happen to the school. Oh did one of the students get married or did----" I was asking myself till I was cut off by Kukui walking into the room. My eyes widened, Pikachu jumps in his spot happily and Eevee looks confused. "No fucking way Professors. When? Why didn't you tell me? How old is he. Omg he's adorable" I rant out squeezing the baby's cheeks. "Well Ash we were planning to let you know but then we got a little side tracked and forgot. Also his name is Ashton" Kukui says and hands the baby over to me. My eyes start to water after he told me his name and Pikachu just squeals looking at the baby from my shoulder.

I gently rock the baby in my arms walking around the house looking at the photos. There were photos of me from my time here and there were even some from Ashton's ultrasound. I found one photo that made me blush a deep red and immediately turned my head away. "Pi Pikachu" Pikachu says knowingly. "Shut up Pikachu I haven't seen her in years so she probably forgot about me anyway" I say looking at the baby asleep in my arms and I feel Eevee's stare. I feel a hand touch my shoulder and I almost jump but stop myself from moving. "Woah sorry Ash didn't know you flinch so easily" Kukui says putting his hands up. "Oh it's fine Kukui. Anyway did come to take Ashton back" I ask him. "Ah no I just overheard what you said and immediately knew who you were talking about. But don't worry she definitely remembers you. She even comes over here daily" Kukui says making my face red again. "Professor" I groan out making him laugh. "As a matter of fact she should be here soon" Kukui says heading back to the kitchen. "W-what" I yell. I immediately flinch and look at the baby to see if I woke him.

I breathe out a sigh of relief once I realize he is still sleeping. I walk in the kitchen and have a seat on a stool. "Here Ash you can out him in this so your arms don't tire out" Burnet walks up to me and hand me some kind of contraption. I look at it confused and Burnet sighs helping me put it on. Once the baby is in it she buckles it closed. "Thanks Burnet" I thank her looking at Kukui who was cooking food. "No problem. Now Ash tell us how you've been since you left Alola" Burnet says making me sigh.

"Well after I left I just ended wandering back home. I spent a few months home than went on a training journey with some of my pokemon. I was a professors assistant. I went out in the field to help him with his research. Ended up in the world coronation battle. Then ended up winning against Leon and I'm now the new Monarch or Champion. Really whatever on you prefer to see me as anyway I bid my friends goodbye and set off back home" I say summing up my journey out leaving bits and pieces out. "Wow sound like you've been busy over the years" Kukui said placing a meatball sub in front of me.

I nod and take a bite being mindful of the baby. I moan at the delicious taste and devour the rest of it. "Holy shit professor since when could you cook so good. Or maybe its because I haven't good meal since Sinnoh" I say trailing off. "Young man since when do you go around cursing so much. Don't do it in my house understand" Burnet scolds me making Pikachu laugh. I glare at him and speak to him through aura. He squeaks and runs off towards the door. As soon as he reached the door it swings open narrowly missing him.

Pikachu squeals and backs away from the door about to shock whoever almost hit him. He suddenly looses all electricity which makes me curious. "A Pikachu? Huh since when did the Professors have a Pikachu" The new voice questions. "Professors since when did you get a Pi---" The voice now identified as Lillie says walking into the kitchen and stops abruptly once her eyes found mine. I wave my hand giving her a slight smile. "A-ash" She asks. I nod my head and she runs over to me.
