"Good day gentlemen. I would like to talk with your captain." The blond captain told and smiled as he scanned the crew with his emerald green eyes.
This was my cue, so I had to introduce myself. Introduction in three...two...one... "What do you want with the captain and who are you?" I asked as I was walking down slowly the little stairs, that lead to the main deck. My shoulders were slightly back as my chest was slightly outside, showing that I wasn't afraid.
The captain turned his head at the sound of my voice. "I would like to talk with him for some business I have in mind." He said and bowed a little taking off his hat. "And my name is Arthur Kirkland, Captain of the 'Royal Maiden'. And who might you be, love?" the named captain Kirkland said and smirked looking straight at my black eyes with his own green ones.
I did a little bow as he did and said: "The name's Scarlett Kenway, or Jack Seamus for those who still think that the captain of the 'Pearl of the North' is a man."
At that he staired at me with wide eyes. After what seemed to pass a few minutes he started laughing. The boy behind him terrified of what might happen. "You? A captain? Haha! Nice one, Mrs Scarle-"
"Captain Kenway to you mister Kirkland. And yes it might be the hat that I'm missing. Mister MacGregor." I said and Dave came next to me. "Please go and fetch my hat from my cabin." His response was a simple 'Aye'and he vanished among the crew members.
That gave me time to analyze Kirkland's ship and crew. They were looking a little nervous and terrified. "I'll call you captain Kenway only if you call me Arthur, love." He said and smirked as he took my hand with his white gloved one. I saw him guiding my hand towards his lips. Oh, no. He will not! I prevented it happening at the last moment before his lips could kiss my knuckles. I shook his hand and took my hand away from.
Dave came and gave me my hat. When I wore it I heard him whispering to me. "They're alright. Alice's worried about you." At that I nodded my head.
"Everyone go back to your post, except you Dave." I paused as I had laid my eyes on Dave. Then my glare flew towards the quests. "If you may want, why don't you follow us to discuss the businesses you want huh?" I told them and walked first towards the Navigator room, walking up the little stairs.
The three men close behind me, as we were finishing our little walk through the upper deck. When we arrived I opened the door and motioned for my quests to go inside. Kirkland went first inside and then followed by the young boy. I went inside after them and Dave after me closing the door shut. I gestured them to sit to the chairs but only the young boy took my offer. Kirkland sat across from my chair and staired right at me. Dave who sat next to me growled and Kirkland smiled and bowed his head muttering and apology.
"So mister Kirkland what d-""Only for you love, you can call me Arthur."
"Alright." I said and launched him a fake smile as he smiled back I continued. "Kirkland" At that my smile extinguished and Kirkland's was dropped to a thin line. The boy next to him laughed a little as silently as he could but it's captain growled at him. "... What is your business with me?"
"I want to ask you a question first Mrs Kenway."
"Shout."
"Are you really the captain of this ship? I heard stories that the captain is feared and respected by it's crew. And a friend of yours, Tim-"
"Timothy Chase?" I said and he nodded. "That bastard what did he tell you about me?"
"Nothing bad. Only that we have the same enemies and the same goal."
"Dave you may go. I would like to give us some privacy." By the time Dave heard that and turned to response I interrupted him. "Now!"
Dave just looked at me and nodded. "Alfred, why don't you go and wait outside? You know, give us some privacy." The captain said and smirked. The boy named Alfred nodded and walked out with Dave.
