23. In Solitude I Laid

For a while I knew myself
Then suddenly I did not
I tied myself to you
When the knot broke
So did I as well
I fell on ground
Shattered I stayed
My pieces unpicked they laid
Who broke me but you
I waited to be put together
But in vain I did
Where are you to pull me out
Of this hole you dug for me
In the hole I laid
Like a grave I did
Grains of the earth fell
On me like soil they did
I open my eyes to see
Your hand on the shovel
With soil I was covered
I try to stand I fall
I plead and beg
You dig and bury
I give in and deeper I laid
I give in I'm buried
Deep within the soil
I'm one
In Solitude I laid
