Ennui comes around and lacks the interests And the enthusiasm of oneself. Where one drowns themselves in briny deep Filled with weariness and apathy.
"There's nothing else to do" they exclaim And just scroll their phones or lie down, Thinking about nothing and everything Being bored to just get up and pitch in.
Dozing and daydreaming, Wanting to engage not knowing to begin Yet believing there's nothing to achieve And engulfing in an Ocean filled with ennui.
