** Malachi's POV:**
As we stepped into the elevator, Laura's demeanor shifted from calm to anxious. Her eyes darted around the small space, and her breathing quickened. I sensed her tension and placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked, concern etched on my face.
She hesitated, her voice barely above a whisper. "What if your friends don't like me? What if they think I'm weird or boring?"
I smiled and pulled her closer. "Laura, my friends are amazing people. They'll love you." I said, trying to reassure her.
The elevator doors opened, and we stepped out into the hotel hallway that led to the room everyone was in. I guided Laura towards the room. As we approached the door, I could hear the laughter and chatter of my friends.
We entered the room, and the conversation ceased. All eyes were on us, and I could sense Laura's discomfort. I wrapped my arm around her shoulders, trying to comfort her.
"Hey, guys! This is Laura," I announced, trying to break the silence.
But instead of welcoming her, my friends stared in disbelief. Meg, Milo, and MK looked at each other, then back at Laura, their eyes wide with recognition.
"Wait a minute..." Meg started, her voice trailing off.
"Dude, is that...?" Milo asked, his eyes fixed on Laura.
MK finished the sentence. "The Princess of New Zealand?"
The room fell silent again, and Laura's eyes widened in horror. I was confused, unsure of what was happening.
**Laura's POV:**
As we entered the room, I felt like a deer in headlights. All eyes were on me, and I could sense their shock and disbelief. Malachi's friends stared at me like they had seen a ghost.
I tried to play it cool, but my heart raced, and my palms grew sweaty. I didn't know what to say or do. I felt like I was trapped in a nightmare.
Malachi's friends started talking all at once, their voices overlapping.
"No way, it's really her!"
"The Princess of New Zealand!"
"I can't believe it!"
Malachi looked at me, confusion etched on his face. "Laura, what's going on?"
I took a deep breath and tried to explain. "I...I'm the Princess of New Zealand. I didn't want to tell you because I didn't want you to treat me differently."
Malachi's expression changed from confusion to shock. "You're a princess? Wait that makes sense, thats why your wearing this fancy ball gown"
I nodded, feeling like I was going to pass out.He now knew who I was.....I wanted to keep it a secret for a while just to see what life was like without people treating me like I was some porcelain doll to stare at and gawk over.i wanted to know what it was like to be normal.
** Meg's POV:**
I couldn't believe my eyes. The girl standing in front of us was the Princess of New Zealand. I had seen her pictures in the news and on social media, but I never thought I would meet her in person.
I looked at Malachi, and he seemed just as shocked as I was. I couldn't help but tease him. "Dude, you really didn't know she was a princess?"
Malachi shook his head. "No, I had no idea .You know im not one to keep up with the royal news"
Milo chimed in. "This is insane. We're hanging out with royalty."
MK added. "And she's so down-to-earth and pretty. I love it."
I smiled, trying to make Laura feel more comfortable I knew when MK said laura was pretty he meant it to be friendly but maybe laura wasn't use to people being so friendly I mean afterall the royala always seem so stern and serious "Hey, Laura, don't worry. We're not going to treat you differently just because you're a princess. You're still a person we just wanna get to know you better, know you for you Laura not the princess of New Zealand "
Laura smiled, looking a bit more at ease. "Thanks, Meg. That means a lot to me."
The room erupted in conversation again, with everyone asking Laura questions and trying to get to know her better. I could tell she was still a bit uncomfortable, but she was trying to make the best of it.
As the night went on, I realized that Laura was more than just a princess. She was a kind, caring, and genuine person who deserved our respect and friendship. And I was glad that Malachi had brought her into our lives.I knew that she wasn't just going to be an important person in our life but especially Malachi's
"Hey how about we invite the rest of the cast over and play some games maybe have a movie night" I suggested hoping that everyone wasn't to tired after eating all the food that Malachi had finally brought up from the car.
Milo agreed eagerly"I think that's a great idea,Laura I hope you'll stay and join us we would love for you to met that rest of our big Cast family" Laura so graciously said she'd love to stay and with that I was on the phone with the rest of the cast inviting them over
