**Laura's POV:**

I sat down next to Freya at the breakfast table, barely containing my excitement. "Guess what?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Freya looked at me curiously. "What?"

I grinned mischievously. "Malachi asked me out on a date tonight!"

Freya's eyes widened, and she let out a squeal. "No way! That's amazing!" She grabbed my arm, her eyes shining with excitement. "Tell me everything!"

I laughed, feeling my face flush with happiness. "There's not much to tell yet, but I can't wait to see what he has planned."

We spent the next few minutes fangirling over Malachi's adorable ask, our excitement building with every passing moment. I couldn't believe it - Malachi and I were going on a date!

"Freya, can you help me get ready for my date tonight?" I asked, my voice filled with excitement.

Freya nodded enthusiastically. "Of course, Laura! I'll help you pick out the perfect outfit and do your hair and makeup."

A few minutes later, Malachi came downstairs and sat down next to Mk. They started whispering and giggling like little girls, constantly glancing over at me. I had no idea what they were talking about, but I knew it was about me.

I raised an eyebrow, trying to hide my amusement. "What's going on over there?" I asked Freya, nodding towards the two of them.

Freya just grinned mischievously. "No idea, but I'm sure it's something good."

I shook my head, laughing. "Boys are so weird."

We all just spent the rest of morning talking about the upcoming filming that the cast was about to begin soon.

It was my turn to do the dishes today so as I was up to my elbows in soap and water, scrubbing away at the breakfast plates, when I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I knew it was Malachi even before he started swinging me side to side, his hips swaying to some invisible beat.

"Hey, beautiful," he whispered in my ear, his breath sending shivers down my spine. "I've got a few errands to run with Mk today, but don't worry, I'll be back in time for our date."

I smiled, feeling my heart flutter in my chest. "I'll hold you to that," I said, playfully splashing some water at him.

He laughed and kissed my neck, sending a thrill through my body. And then, just as suddenly as he had appeared, he was gone, leaving me to finish the dishes with a silly grin on my face.

**Mk POV:**

Malachi and I were on a mission at Target, scouring the aisles for the perfect picnic supplies. He had envisioned a romantic evening in the park, and I was happy to help him make it happen.

But as we wandered through the store, Malachi's enthusiasm began to turn into frantic energy. He was determined to find the perfect blanket, the perfect snacks, the perfect flowers. And if we didn't find them, the whole date would be ruined.

"MK, we need to find the perfect blanket!" he exclaimed, his eyes scanning the shelves frantically. "Something soft, something cozy, something that will make Laura feel like a queen!"

I chuckled and put a hand on his shoulder. "Dude, calm down. We'll find something great. It's just a picnic."

But Malachi was beyond reason. He started grabbing random blankets off the shelves, holding them up to the light, and scrutinizing them like a hawk.

I finally managed to pry the blankets out of his hands and led him to the snack aisle. "Let's focus on the snacks, okay? We can't go wrong with some good old-fashioned chips and dip."
