☆can't stop looking at you☆

**Laura's POV:**

I couldn't believe how comfortable I felt around Malachi i mean i even told him about the whole arrangement between the prince of Whales and me. We had been laughing and joking around for the past 5 minutes when it started to feel a little to long that we were in the room and no one had all us to come back yet. I started to feel a little self-conscious about my dress shuffling in the material as it was uncomfortable. I had been wearing it for hours, and it was starting to feel tight and scratchy

Malachi must have noticed my discomfort, because he turned to me and asked, "Hey, do you need a change of clothes? You've been wearing that dress all night."

I felt my face flush with embarrassment, but I nodded sheepishly. "Yeah, that would be great. I'm starting to feel a little uncomfortable."

Malachi smiled and stood up. "I've got some sweats and a hoodie you can wear. They're probably a little big on you, but they'll be comfortable."

Has he dug in is draw for the clothes he told me that after i got changed we could make our way back to the others.I agreed as i stood behind him feeling a little shy but also grateful for his thoughtfulness. He handed me a pair of socks, soft sweatpants and a warm hoodie, and I changed into them in the bathroom attached to his room.

When I came out, I felt a little silly. The clothes were huge on me, and I looked like a homeless boy. But Malachi just smiled and held my cheek. "You look beautiful," he said, his eyes crinkling at the corners. I loved when he smiled.Wait arg I was doing it again

I felt my heart skip a beat at his words, and I smiled up at him. "Thanks," I said, feeling a little more at ease.

We made our way back to the living room, where the rest of the group was settling in to watch a movie. Freya called out to us, "Hey, we were just about to call you guys and start the movie. Come join us!"

Meg and Chandler called out to me, "Laura, come sit with us! We're watching a horror movie."

I hesitated for a moment, but Malachi just smiled and nodded. "Go ahead, I'll sit with MK and Freya. We haven't had a chance to catch up yet."

I nodded and made my way over to Meg and Chandler, feeling a little grateful to Malachi for understanding and really excited to be making more friends other then Floura OMG FLOR I totally forgot she must be so worried about my whereabouts. I took a mental note to message her later.

**Malachi's POV:**

I was a little bummed when Laura didn't sit with me, but I was happy to be sitting with MK and Freya. We hadn't had a chance to talk much yet, and I was excited to catch up with them.

As the movie started i couldn't keep my eyes off Laura. She was laughing and joking around with Meg and Chandler she looked like she was having a great time, and her smile lit up the whole room i felt a pang of jealousy, wishing I was the one sitting with her. But I pushed the feeling aside and focused on the movie.

I knew I had to be careful, though. I didn't want to scare her off by moving too fast. But I couldn't help the way I felt, and I knew that I wanted to spend more time with her.

I just couldn't help but notice everything about her, from the smallest freckle on her face to the way her hair fell in loose waves down her back. I loved how the light from the TV reflected off her face, making her skin glow. And whenever something scary happened in the movie, she would jump and laugh, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

I was so caught up in watching her that I didn't even notice when the movie paused and everyone got up to refill their drinks and snacks. But when Laura stood up and made her way to the kitchen, I followed her, my heart beating a little faster.
