I walked for what felt like hours, my feet carrying me wherever they wanted to go. I eventually found myself at a nearby skate park, the sound of wheels on concrete and laughter filling the air. I sat down on a bench, watching the skaters as they did their tricks.

As I sat there, trying to calm myself down, I suddenly saw a skateboard come flying towards me. I ducked just in time, the board hitting the bench behind me with a loud thud.

I turned to see a guy running towards me, his eyes wide with apology. "Oh my god, are you okay? I'm so sorry!"

As he got closer, I realized it was Prince Jona. I couldn't believe it. What was he doing here?

"Prince Jona?" I asked, my voice surprised. "What are you doing here?"

He stopped in front of me, his chest heaving from running. "Laura? oh my  gosh its so good to see you,I was just skating and I lost control of my board. I'm so sorry, Laura. Are you okay?"

I nodded, still in shock. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little shaken up."

Prince Jona nodded, his eyes filled with concern. "Let me get you out of here. My car is just around the corner. You shouldn't be here alone Laura it's not safe"

I hesitated for a moment , but then nodded. I didn't have anywhere else to go, and I couldn't just sit there at the skate park. "Okay," I said, standing up. "Thanks, Prince Jona."

"Laura dont be silly,Call me Jona"
He smiled and put his arm around me, leading me out of the skate park. As we walked, I couldn't help but wonder what he was doing here, and why he was being so nice to me. But I didn't ask any questions, I just let him lead me to his car and drive me away from the skate park, and from my troubles.

As we drove away from the skate park, I turned to Jona and asked, "What were you doing at the skate park? I wouldn't have pegged you as the skateboarding type."

Jona chuckled and kept his eyes on the road. "It's a hobby I've had for a while, but I keep it hidden away from my family. They wouldn't see it as fitting for someone of my stature to be doing something like skateboarding."

I raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Really? Why not?"

Jona shrugged. "They want me to maintain a certain image, and skateboarding doesn't exactly fit into that. But I love it, and it's something that helps me clear my head."

I nodded, understanding. "I get it. I have things I like to do that my family doesn't necessarily understand either."

Jona glanced over at me, his eyes serious. "Speaking of which, your family has been worried about you, Laura. They've been keeping everything about you being gone from the news, but they're getting desperate. They want to know you're safe."

My heart skipped a beat as I realized how much my family must be worrying about me. I had been so caught up in my own problems that I hadn't even thought about how they might be affected. "Oh, no. I had no idea.I miss Amelia so much.i have reach out to them soon"

Jona nodded. "Yeah, you should. They care about you, Laura. And they want to help you through whatever it is you're going through. I dont exactly know why you left the palace but im sure you have your reasons"

"Thanks and I do." It was quite for a moment "where are we going?"

Jona smiled, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "We're going to a bonfire on a secluded beach. Some friends of mine are going to be there, and I think you'll really like them."

I raised an eyebrow, curious. "Friends from the palace?"

Jona chuckled. "No, actually, I met them at the skate park a few months back. They're a great group of people, and they're always up for a good time."
