☆Heart to Heart☆

Laura got into her car and started the engine, her mind still racing from her conversation with Malachi.

As she drove through the streets, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement building up inside her. She had no idea what was planned, but she knew it was going to be an important long awaited talk.

After a few minutes of driving, Laura turned off the main road and onto a dirt path. The trees grew closer together here, casting deep shadows that made her heart race.

She drove for another mile or so, the path growing narrower and more winding. Finally, she saw a clearing up ahead and pulled into it.

The secluded spot was surrounded by tall trees and a babbling brook, the sound of the water soothing her frazzled nerves. Laura took a deep breath, feeling a sense of peace wash over her.

And then, she saw a car, parked off to the side. Laura's heart skipped a beat as she realized she was finally going to get the answers she had been searching for.

Laura jumped out of the car and grabbed her bag from the passenger seat. She slung it over her shoulder and made her way towards a nearby patch of grass, her eyes fixed on a figure sitting on a log.

As soon as Amelia caught sight of Laura, her little face lit up with a bright smile. She squealed with delight, holding up the A4-sized paper in her hand.

"Laura! Laura!" she exclaimed, running towards her big sister as fast as her little legs could carry her.

Laura's heart melted at the sight of her baby sister, and she opened her arms wide to receive her. As soon as Amelia was close enough, she jumped into Laura's arms, squeezing her tight with all her might.

Laura laughed and spun around, twirling Amelia around in a circle as she hugged her back just as tightly. "Amelia! Oh, I've missed you so much!" she exclaimed, burying her face in Amelia's curly hair.

Amelia giggled and hugged Laura even tighter, her little arms wrapped around her neck. "I missed you too, Laurrrr!" she said, her voice muffled by Laura's shoulder.

As they hugged, Amelia's paper was crushed between them, but neither of them noticed. All that mattered was the joy of being reunited, and the love that they shared.

Finally, Laura set Amelia down, and she looked up at her with shining eyes. "I drew you a picture!" she exclaimed, holding up the crumpled paper.

Laura smiled, her heart full of love. "I can't wait to see it!" she said, taking the paper from Amelia and smoothing out the wrinkles.

Laura's eyes widened as she saw the picture, her heart melting at the sight. "Amelia, this is amazing!" she exclaimed.It was a drawing of Laura,Amelia and Malachi all sat in lauras room holding tea cups having a tea party"You're such a talented artist!"

Amelia beamed with pride, her eyes sparkling. "I wanted to draw us having a tea party, like we used to,and your friend wanted to join the last time so i added him too" she said, her voice full of nostalgia."Thank you, love," Laura's smiled hugging Amelias tiny body close to her own. Laura hadn't realized how much she had really missed Amelia."Do you think Mr happy man will like it" she jutted her bottom lip out and frowned her eyebrows inward.Laura laughed at the nickname Amelia called Malichai it reminded her of the day Amelia and Malachi first met.That was when Malachi sneaked into Laura's room."He'll frame it i swear" she chuckled softly "Yay okay im going to play now" laura sighed she really only wanted to see Amelia but she knew that she would have to see the person that bought Amelia here too "Don't venture off to far okay"

Then turning around her eyes met with non other then Floura

Laura stood frozen for a moment, her mind racing as she processed the young woman stood before her, looking somewhat nervous yet determined. The clearing felt suddenly smaller, enclosed by the towering trees that seemed to listen intently to their conversation.
