**Malachi's POV:**

The city buzzed with a nocturnal energy as I navigated through the maze of streets, finally arriving at the hotel for our Zombies 4 cast meetup. We were a motley crew of actors, gathered for the latest installment of our beloved franchise. Laughter and camaraderie filled the air as we exchanged stories and shared excitement for the upcoming shoot.

They'd all been quick to volunteer me for a food run, probably because they knew I didn't mind the break from the chaos. As I was driving back to the hotel, bags of takeout on the backseat, my mind wandered back to early in the airport and that beautiful girl that so kindly helped me. It was then that I saw her—a figure in the dimly lit street, oblivious to the world around her.

I slammed on the brakes just in time, the bags of food sliding off the seat  as my heart raced. She stood frozen, shock and fear mingling in her wide eyes.

"Are you alright?" I asked, my voice rough with concern as I got out of the car to check on her.

**Laura's POV:**

I was running, desperate to escape the suffocating expectations of the palace. Tears blurred my vision as I stumbled through unfamiliar streets, seeking solace in the anonymity of the night. And then, the screech of tires and the blinding headlights forced me to freeze.

A car halted inches from me, and my heart pounded against my chest. A young man stepped out, his expression a mix of worry and relief. His voice cut through the silence, gentle yet firm.

"Are you alright?"

"No," I blurted out, my voice trembling as I backed away instinctively. "I'm not alright. I can't... I can't marry him."

He approached slowly, as if afraid I might bolt. "Hey, it's okay," he said softly. "Let's get you out of the street. Do you need a ride back home?"

I hesitated, torn between the urge to trust this stranger and the fear of revealing too much. "I... I'm actually running away," I admitted, my voice barely above a whisper. "Just for tonight. I need some time alone."

He nodded understandingly, his gaze steady and reassuring. "Alright. I won't pry," he promised. "But let me at least get you somewhere safe. Where do you want to go?"

As he helped me into the car, I caught a glimpse of recognition in his eyes. "You're... you're the guy from earlier," I realized, the pieces falling into place. "The one who asked for directions at the airport."

He nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "Yeah, that's me. Malachi."

"I'm Laura," I introduced myself, a rush of gratitude flooding me as the weight of the night's events finally began to settle.

Together, we drove through the quiet streets, the city lights flickering past in a blur. With each passing moment, the knots of tension in my chest loosened, replaced by a newfound sense of companionship and understanding.

As we reached a a beautiful hotel building in the of  town, I exhaled deeply, the cool night air soothing my frayed nerves. "Where are we, Malachi," I murmured, turning to meet his gaze. "Are you already inviting me to your bed." I joked

He smiled warmly, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Funny, Laura, but no i actually thought you could use the company of some friends"

I sat puzzled in the seat beside him waiting for him to explain"what i mean is remember when i said i was here for business"i nod "well im actually filming a movie."

"wow thats so sick,so your introducing me to your movie friends?"I questioned "movie friends is...an interesting choice of words but yes like i said laura you could use some company" shame he's so adorable...wait what no- bad Laura what are you thinking you just met him "okay Malachi lead the way"
