Once I was officially away from Ordon, I rode to Castle Town. I needed some rest as the events of that night wore me out. 'I hope I can get some sleep.' Once I got in and put my horse up in the stables, I threw my things down in my house. I sat down on the edge of the bed and sighed heavily. I laid back on the bed with a groan. "Some night, huh?"

I furrowed my brow as the memory came back into my mind. The thought that maybe I was better off alone crept in and festered. I made myself comfortable and shut my eyes, hoping sleep would find me.

The next morning, I woke up to the door downstairs opening and shutting. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I threw my legs off the bed and stood up to stretch. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and soon after I saw May. "Y/n! What are you doing here?" She ran over to hug me. "Just came for the night."

"Everything alright?"

"Yeah, totally."

"Alright, spill." I told her everything that happened and she looked upset. "Who does this guy think he is? I don't care if he's the 'Hero', he sucks right now!"

"May, it's fine."

"It is so not fine! He lied to you! Again!" She threw her hands up in frustration and I placed a hand on her shoulder. "May, it's fine! Things just didn't go the way I thought. That's on me."

"No. Don't do that. Don't blame yourself for someone else's mistakes." She hugged me again. "You deserve so much more than what you have and what you've gotten, you have no idea. You deserve someone who treats you like you're the sun, moon, and stars. The whole damn galaxy." Her words hit me like bricks and the tears started rolling down my face.

Once I had calmed down, I went around Castle Town to look for any clues as to where my parents had gone this time. They hate settling down for long periods of time so moving around is their strong suit. I have a feeling it's what makes running away so easy for me. The two buildings they owned showed no sign of them, but a family was occupying one. I knocked on the door and a woman answered. She smiled and asked how she could help me. I asked her about the previous owners and if she happened to know where they went.

"Oh, sweetie, I think they went off to Kakariko. They were here a couple of weeks ago, actually. We bumped into them in town. Said they were looking in to see their daughter."

"Okay, thank you!" I smiled at her and left. I walked around town and picked up some food to eat and to have with me while I traveled. I knew they wouldn't be around Zora's Domain, it didn't seem likely they'd go back. Maybe Renado knows something? I fed my horse and brushed her mane. As I did, Link was the only thought running through my mind. 'He's probably so tired of me always taking off. I don't think he'll chase me this time.' While the thought did help to ease my anxiety about running into him, it also brought my mood down a bit because I still have feelings for him.

Once I finished bruising my horse's mane, I mounted her and took off for Kakariko. The ride there was quiet and brought me some peace. As I reached the village entrance, a sick feeling came over me. I rushed to leave my horse by the spring and ran off to a side and threw up. 'What the hell? What did I get sick from?' I kept going over in my head everything I'd eaten. I went to swish my mouth clean with my water and I kept thinking. Those thoughts wandered to the idea that it might be the anxiety. 'I seriously need to chill out.'

The nasty feeling remained and I went to find Renado. I saw him walking outside with Luda, who ran to hug me when she spotted me from afar. "You're here! How has your trip been?" She asked with a beaming smile. "It's been...interesting." She laughed at me, knowing I must've meant it had to do with Link. Reando came over to greet me. "It's good to see you, Y/n. Traveling alone?"
