Currently, Link was watching Y/n pace back and forth trying to come to terms with her friend transforming into a wolf. And then transforming back into a human.

"Link, this is so not funny. Have you been following me? Did you like, I don't know, make a plan to play a trick on me with him?"
"What? You don't believe I turned into a wolf but you can believe I conspired with a wolf to trick you?"
"I don't know! I'm just confused, it shouldn't be possible to turn into a wolf and then back into a human, I mean what is that, magic? It's insane and that's saying the least, I don't know what to make of this, Link, it's crazy how-" He grabbed her by her shoulders to stop her rambling and pacing. "Y/n! Take a breath!" She finally stopped and let out a sharp breath. "Link. You were a wolf." She enunciated every word and grabbed his face with her hands. "Are you gonna grow facial hair now?"
"No!"
"Do you still have fangs?" She moved his lip out of the way to examine his teeth. He grabbed her hand and moved it away. "I do not have fangs anymore, thank you." She sighed, closed her eyes, and rested her head on his chest. "I missed you..." He was a bit surprised. Yes, they were fine but he assumed that she was just concerned about him being dead. He didn't think she cared for him anymore past that. He wrapped his arms around her and stroked her hair. "I was always with you."
"Yeah, but I didn't know." They stayed holding each other for a few minutes before Y/n remembered her sweet affectionate attitude towards him as a wolf. She blushed a bit and cleared her throat. She released herself from the hug and turned around. "We should get to the Castle." He didn't question her turn in attitude and followed her.

"Did you like me better as a wolf?"
"I wouldn't say I liked you better. I liked you just as much."
"Ahh, got you." She did like him just as much, it's just she obviously liked him differently as a human. It was pretty silent, save for the occasional sniffle from Link. "Are you sick or something?"
"I think it was the fur. I feel stuffy. Allergy stuffy." As he finished that sentence, he sneezed about 4 times. His nose was red and he had a frown. "You're allergic to yourself. Interesting."

She still hadn't told Link about the ominous message stitched into the cloak but that was more because she had forgotten for the moment. She was focused on the fact that the person she was searching for was with her the entire time. "Link?" He hummed in response. "Why didn't you do something to show me it was you?"
"Honestly, I didn't want you to know."
"Why? Do you not trust me with that?"
"It's not that. This isn't something normal and I had no clue how to reverse it. I didn't want you losing your mind over how to fix it."
"Just rather me losing my mind trying to find you." He gave a dorky smile and nodded while she rolled her eyes. "So...sweet boy?"

"Link, I swear."
"Just wondering. Have you always been that sweet or did that develop because I was just so adorable?"
"I thought I was speaking to an animal, Link."
"Yeah, yeah. Just messing with you." He nudged her shoulder with his playfully and laughed. She could feel a blush coming on but she fought it.

On the way to the Castle, Y/n went over in her head the possibility of him turning again. She wondered if it was the crystal. 'It couldn't have been. As far as I know, Link didn't have it on him before, that's why he went looking for it.'

Link was lost in his own thoughts wondering how the crystal could change him if he didn't even have it to begin with. "Link, that crystal...have you seen it before?"
"Yes. Midna had it."
"She cursed you?"
"No. It's a long story." So, he told her what happened during the Twilight as they went to the Castle. "So, you could change at will before."
"Yes. I don't know how I changed now. I wasn't even aware the crystal still existed."
"Whoever had it is only starting whatever plan they have. Look at this." She handed him the cloak. "What? Was this there at the Chamber?"
"Yes. It's identical to the other ones but only this one is stitched. I think they wanted us to find it."
"Like a warning?"
"I think they're messing with us. This doesn't give us any lead other than it has something to do with resurrecting Ganondorf."
"Maybe Princess Zelda will know something."
