Newton's section law of motion states that the force acting on an object is equal to the mass of the object times it acceleration.

The bigger the force, the more an object accelerates.

The heavier an object is, the more force it takes for the object to accelerate.

Twenty -first Chase

Present.

[ JOY ]

"Hello?"

"Hey. Nasan ka?" My fiance asked from the other line.

"Kararating ko lang sa Estrel's. I'm picking up Julian's cake." I looked at the mirror in my car at inayos ko yung suot kong cap and sunglasses. "Okay na ba yung gift natin?"

"Yup. Nakabili na ko. Papunta na ko sa condo ni Julian. Didiretso ka na rin ba doon pagkatapos mo diyan?"

Lumabas ako ng kotse and I locked it bago ako naglakad papunta sa entrance ng Estrel's. "No, dadaanan ko si Maisie sa work niya. Coding kasi siya ngayon so wala siyang dalang car. I'll see you there."

"Okay. Ingat. Love you."

I smiled as I entered the store. "I love you too."

I asked for the cake that I pre-ordered over the phone a while ago and after paying for it, bumalik ako sa kotse ko and went on my way to Maisie's office building. She's currently working as a marketing staff at a telecommunications company.

She was waiting sa labas ng building when I got there. I unlocked the doors at agad na pumasok si Maisie sa kotse ko.

"Hi!" Masaya niyang sabi pero nahalata ko yung pagod niya.

Pinaandar ko na yung kotse. "Busy day?" I asked her.

"Oo, teh, sinabi mo pa. Pinag-iinitan na naman ng boss ko. Alam mo, I swear, may lihim na galit talaga sa'kin yung bruhang 'yun."

Napatawa ako. "Sige nga, tawagin mo nga siyang bruha sa harapan niya."

"Syempre hindi ko naman magagawa yun. E di nasisante ako. Sayang yung isang taon kong pagtitiis sa kanya. Ayoko nang lumipat na naman ng kumpanya no. Nakakapagod." Ever since kasi na grumaduate kami ng college, nakailang papalit-palit na ng kumpanya si Maisie. For some reason, lagi siyang may nakikitang problema sa mga kumpanyang pinapasukan niya katulad nung bruha raw niyang boss sa current na company niya. Usually, she would quickly call it quits because of her short temper and she would look for another job. Kaya laking gulat naming lahat when she stuck it out in her current company despite her hatred for her boss. Her year with the company is actually her longest record ever since we all started working.

"Ang sabihin mo, may crush ka kasi sa current company mo."

"Well, yun din. Wag mo kong isusumbong sa honey ko ah!"

Napatawa ako. "Ang baduy ng tawagan niyo."

"Walang pakialamanan. Anyway, alam kong engaged ka na everything pero kailangan mo kong samahan magrelax sa weekend ha! Spa day tayo. And no boys allowed. Jusko, dumadami ng wala sa oras yung wrinkles ko dahil sa boss ko."

Napailing na lang ako but I couldn't contain my smile. "Sure, sure."

Nakarating kami sa condo building ni Julian and I parked my car tapos pumasok na kami sa loob. He lives in the 8th floor so we rode an elevator towards his unit.

Pinindot ni Maisie yung doorbell and after a few seconds, Julian opened the door.

"Happy birthday!" Sabay na sabi namin ni Maisie.
