Y/N POV

I pulled away after recovering from my shock. Thankfully, no one saw it, and it was better if Kazuha woke up the next morning forgetting everything about last night.

"Let's go home, okay?" I whispered gently. "You need rest right now."

She nodded and immediately passed out. I mentally cursed and began to carry her. Minji, finally breaking away from her helium-induced giggles, came over to help with the weight.

"Calling it a night?" Minji asked.

"Yes, and stay over," I replied. Minji called her friends over, and we started walking back to my house. The journey was a silent one, filled with awkward tension. Nobody said a word or laughed. Hyein occasionally walked next to me, put her arm around my shoulders, then fell back with her friends. Finally, the welcoming sight of my house appeared as we turned the corner. I handed the key to Hyein, who ran ahead to unlock the door.

Once inside, we gently laid Kazuha on the couch. I fetched blankets and pillows, arranging them so she would be comfortable. Minji and her friends settled in the living room, making themselves at home as I ensured everyone had what they needed.

"Thanks," I said to Minji as she settled down.

"No problem," she replied.

With everyone settled, I took a moment to breathe. The weight of the evening's events pressed down on me. Kazuha's unexpected kiss had left me reeling, and now I had to deal with the aftermath.

Hours passed quietly. The only sounds were the soft rustling of blankets and the occasional sigh from one of Minji's friends. I stayed in the living room, keeping an eye on Kazuha, who slept fitfully on the couch. Eventually, I fell asleep.

Somewhere in the middle of the night, a rustling sound woke me. I jumped up to check what it was. A faint groan followed, and I turned around to check on Kazuha. Since it was dark and I didn't want to wake everyone up, I relied on my night vision to scan the bed. It was empty. No sounds came from anywhere except the bathroom door. I got up and knocked gently. After a few seconds, the door finally opened.

"Are you okay?" I asked with concern.

"Yeah," Kazuha replied weakly. "Except my head hurts."

"Hangover. You need more rest," I said, supporting her back to the couch. I checked her forehead for signs of fever or sickness. She was clear. "I'll be here if you need anything. For now, focus on sleeping."

"What happened last night?" she whispered.

I held my breath. I'd been dreading this question ever since I helped her back onto the couch, but it seemed inevitable. "I'll tell you everything in the morning." Well, that was a lie. I definitely wasn't going to tell her everything. The best I could offer was that she got drunk, and we brought her back. Half-truths would have to suffice.

Before I knew it, morning had arrived. I stretched, feeling the price I paid for sleeping on the couch in the form of back pain. The memories of last night were still fresh in my mind, but there wasn't much I could do about them now.

"Morning," Minji greeted me as I sat down next to her. "How's Kazuha?"

"She has a hangover but seems a little better now," I replied, sipping my coffee.

The morning went on with a lightened atmosphere and cheerful laughs. Most were from Hyein as she described the friendly match we had against SM yesterday. Hanni and Danielle were just arguing in their thick Australian accents as usual. Kitty Kang was being her usual introverted self, sitting in a little corner, except her little corner was disrupted by the arguments from the two Australians. After a long hour of hearing their debate, Kazuha plopped down next to me and rested her head on my shoulder.
