Chapter 20

Y/N POV

It was dark by the time the food arrived and Kazuha had fallen asleep on my lap. Hyunjin knocked on the glass window and entered into the rooftop.

"Dinner's here," he said.

I turned around and nodded my head. "Yeah, we'll be there in a minute."

"You'd better come down when the food's still hot," Hyunjin said and left.

I chuckled and  gently nudged Kazuha awake. "Hey, Zuha, dinner's here," I whispered.

She blinked a few times, then smiled sleepily. "Okay, let's go."

We made our way back downstairs, where the rest of the group was already digging into the pizza. The atmosphere was lively, filled with laughter and the comforting sounds of friends enjoying each other's company. Their laughter stopped when we sat down on the chair.

"Yujin's told us about you two," Hyunjin said, his face serious.

I choked on my water and chuckled nervously. "Y-Yeah?"

"Congrats," he finally said after a long, agonizing silence.

I sighed and smiled. Kyujin and Sullyoon smiled and then smirked.

"Guess (ship name between the two of you) finally sailed right, Kyujin?" Sullyoon said, crossing her arms and smiling.

"Damn right it did," she replied, mirroring Sullyoon's expression and pose.

Kazuha blushed, but she couldn't help but smile back. The tension melted away as the others started to tease us, making the atmosphere light and fun again.

"You guys are so cute together," Wonyoung said, winking at us. "About time, too!"

Minji grinned and raised her glass. "To Y/N and Kazuha!"

Everyone else joined in, lifting their glasses and cheering. "To Y/N and Kazuha!"

We clinked glasses, laughing and enjoying the moment. The warmth and camaraderie were palpable, making all the recent troubles feel distant. An idea clicked in my head and the corner of my lips curved upwards subconsciously.

"Yujin?" I said and tilted my head innocently.

Her smile faded, realizing what I was planning. "No. Don't you dare Y/N."

I stood up, still smirking. "Yujin here has to say something to Jang Wonyoung-shi. Will Ahn Yujin-shi please stand up?"

All heads turned to Yujin as she stood up slowly with a awkward smile, everyone except for Minji and Kazuha in which they hid their smile behind a tissue paper. I sat back down and took a sip of water and raised my glass up slowly.

"Erm..." Yujin began, clearly flustered. She glanced at Wonyoung, who was looking at her with a mix of curiosity and amusement.

"Go on, Yujin," I encouraged, trying to keep a straight face but feeling the corner of my lips going up. "We're all ears."

Yujin took a deep breath, then finally mustered the courage to speak. "Wonyoung, I just... I wanted to say that I think you're really amazing. You're smart, kind, and... and I really admire you."

There was a moment of stunned silence, then Wonyoung's face broke into a bright smile. "Is this what I think it is Yujin?"

"Y-Yeah?" she replied, trying to hide her blushing face.

"I accept," Wonyoung said with a slight wink.

Everyone burst into applause, and Yujin immediately dropped on the chair. Minji and Kazuha could no longer hold back their laughter and joined in the clapping.
