Sunghoon's POV

It had been a hectic month since the picnic with Jay and Jungwon. Despite the fond memories of that day, filled with laughter and friendship, Jake and I had been buried under work and responsibilities. Tonight, though, was different. Finally, a chance to unwind together without the weight of deadlines or meetings hanging over us.

I took charge of setting up our living room, creating a cozy atmosphere. The soft glow of candles mingled with the fading daylight, casting a warm ambiance over the space. Snacks were carefully arranged on the coffee table, a mix of store-bought treats and homemade cookies—a little something sweet to complement the wine that awaited us.

"Let's watch another movie," I suggested as Jake joined me on the couch, his smile already softened by the first sip of wine.

He nodded in agreement, relaxed. "Sounds good. What do you want to watch?"

I couldn't resist teasing him. "How about something... different? Ever seen Fifty Shades of Grey?"

Jake's eyebrow arched, his smirk playful. "Really? That's what you're suggesting?"

I laughed, enjoying his reaction. "Why not? It'll be fun. Besides, we need something to take our minds off the craziness of this month."

Jake chuckled and poured himself another drink. "Alright, let's do it."

Soon the movie began, filling the room with its charged atmosphere. I settled comfortably into the cushions, feeling Jake's presence beside me. The film unfolded with its provocative scenes, and I couldn't help but steal glances at Jake, noticing the subtle shifts in his expression as the story progressed.

During one particularly intense moment, our eyes met. There was a vulnerability in Jake's gaze that tugged at something deep inside me. Before I could fully process it, he leaned in, his lips brushing against mine in a hesitant kiss. I responded instinctively, my hand gently cradling his cheek as we shared a moment of unexpected intimacy.

When we pulled back, I could see the surprise mingled with shyness in Jake's eyes. His admission made my heart skip a beat. "I've wanted to do that for a while," he confessed softly.

I couldn't resist teasing him playfully. "I'm glad you did," I murmured, my thumb tracing lightly along his jawline.

There was a charged silence between us, the air thick with unspoken desires. Jake looked uncertain, his emotions swirling visibly. I leaned closer, unable to resist the magnetic pull between us.

"So, do you want to do it tonight?" I asked in a low voice, my breath mingling with his.

Jake hesitated, his response hesitant. His eyes met mine, reflecting a mixture of longing and fear. "I... I think I should go," he finally managed, his voice strained.

I felt a pang of disappointment and frustration, mixed with a tinge of hurt. " Sure thing, wifey. Go back to your favorite hobby of running away. If you do that fast enough, you might reach your second favorite hobby-avoidance-in record time." I murmured, unable to mask my confusion.

His eyes shoot to mine. "Seriously, what the hell is your problem?"

"What's your problem?" I invade his space again, my chest grazing his, and we both inhale at the same time."Why the fuck do you act like we sleeping together is the end of the world?"

"Because you're not supposed to," jake whispers, his eyes blinking slowly, but he doesn't stop running them over my face.

I couldn't stop the surge of frustration. "You need to stop looking at me like that if you don't want me to fucking devour you." I murmured, my voice rough with desire.

Jake shakes his head once, but, surprisingly, no words come out of his antagonizing mouth.

But here's the thing.

Jake doesn't look away and, instead, keeps staring, eyes hooded and lips slightly parted.

Fuck this. My hand bunches in his shirt and I growl as I tug and slam him against my chest.

I can feel that loud thump of his heartbeat as his eyes widen, panic glittering in their depths like wildfire, similar to mine.

But there's something else a lot more potent.

Now that his control has wavered, I sense an avalanche of impulsiveness rushing to the surface.

And I just have to seize it.Trap it. Leave him no fucking way out. Just once.

"D-don't," he stammers, both his hands landing on my chest as he focuses on me, his eyes a myriad of confusion."Please."

"Too late, baby."

Using my hold on his shirt, I drag him into our bedroom and shove him against the bedroom wall.

He releases the most delicious startled sound I've ever heard and I'm done for.

Finished.

Absolutely jumping off a cliff, rolling and cracking a few bones and not giving a flying fuck, because I have my prize at the bottom.

Him.

My hand slides to his throat and wraps around his chiseled jaw, my fingers digging into his smooth skin. Jake's eyes widen to a dark, hypnotizing blue, and he rewards me with another noise, low and fucking needy.

I slam my lips to his, devouring that sound and swallowing it deep inside me.

Fuck. Fuck me.

He tastes like sweet surrender, all wound up and ripe for the taking. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. I think I've found my new favorite addiction in the form of his lips. I suck the lower one into my mouth, biting down on the cushion so he feels the pain as deep as I do.

Jake shakes against me, his fingers fisting in my shirt, and I'm not sure if he's pulling me closer or pushing me away.

I don't give a fuck.

Tonight, I'm taking what I should've stolen that first night after our wedding.

Whether his delusional brain likes it or not.
