Carla and Lisa

Part 9

They awoke the next day naked limbs where  tangled and they where spooning Carla being the big spoon of course. They had found that Carla always being the big spoon when one would fall alseep and the others. "Morning love" Lisa whispered as she placed a kiss to the others lips. Carla let out a groan. She had never been a morning person. "How about I go make us some coffee" Lisa asked. "Babe it's far too early" Carla groaned again. "Car it's 10am" Lisa giggled and moved to get up. Carla wrapped her arms around the other woman tighter. Kissing her cheek. Lisa giggled the other woman's name trying to fight her. "Give me a kiss and I will let you go" Carla tried to argue. Lisa pressed a long kiss towards the other mouth the brunette instantly let go and went to move her hands but Lisa was to quick and jumped off the bed. Pulling on one of Carla's tees and joggers before walking into the kitchen. "Boring" Carla had called causing the blonde to laugh.

As the kettle was boiling the buzzer to the door went waking Carla again. "I'll get it" her girlfriend shouted guessing it would be a parcel. When she opened the door she was met by a very shocked brunette. She looked like Michelle from the photos Carla had shown her. "Oh erm hi you must be Michelle" Lisa smiled unsure of what to do. But she was saved when she heard Carla entering the room with the hoodie on Lisa had gave her that night they first kissed. "Who is at my door at this time on a Saturday" Carla stopped dead on her tracks and before running to the other woman pulling her into a hug. "What are you doing here?!? Ryan said next week" Carla grinned when she pulled away. "The idiot got it wrong. Who's this" Michelle asked. Carla turned to look at her lover and grabbed her hand pulling her close to her. "This is my girlfriend Lisa Swain. Lisa this is my best friend Michelle"

"It's nice to finally meet you" Lisa smiled. "Fucking hell how long have I been away" Michelle laughed "it's good to meet you to but to be totally honest I didn't know Anything about this" she admitted.

Carla laughed and moved to sit on the sofa pulling Lisa with her. They both sat on the sofa cuddling up whilst Michelle sat in the arm chair. "Well we haven't told anyone yet. I was going to tell you first when I saw you. I didn't have it planned this was like but well here we are" Carla rambled she pulled Lisa's hand into her as away to calm her nerves. "So how long has this been a thing." Michelle asked pointing towards the two of them

"Just over 2 months." Lisa spoke. Taking hold of her hand.

This caused Michelle to scoff "I can't belive you didn't tell me" Michelle was angry. She had crossed her arms over her chest. Lisa found it her que to go Finnish making those coffees. She stood Carla leaving her hand on Lisa's body as long as possible and walked the small distance to the kitchen. "I well we wanted to tell you but we. well we had a plan. We was going to tell you second next week when you where here"

"Well who was you going to tell first" jelaous now in the other voice. "We was going to tell my daughter Betsy" Lisa spoke as she carried three coffee and placed them on the table. Carla stood and took a Polaroid picture from the fireplace. The picture was on herself Lisa and Betsy one night after the women had took her out for food and bowling. Another way of getting her on their side. She gave the picture to Michelle and not beofre looking at the picture her self and smiling. It was taken last week and Lisa had surprised her with it the day after.

"Oh." Michelle said finally calming down. "We thought she deserved to know. We planned it all last night. Who we was doing to tell and when. Her, you, then Roy and Nina" Carla admitted "we was going to tell her next Saturday night." Lisa said. Carla had the biggest smile on her face. She had grown to love Betsy and care for her. Knowing what the young girl and her mother had been through.

Carla sat down and wrapped her arm around  her girlfriend. She had never been one for physical intimacy but with Lisa she couldn't keep her hands off her. Even out on the street a swipe of the woman's back of a graze of their hands.

The women sat chatting for a while until Michelle said her goodbyes agreeing to meet up with the two of them and possible Betsy tonight at the pub. Lisa was sat on the other woman's knee both eating toast when her phone called causing her to groan. "It's the station" she took the call and turned to her girlfriend "I've been called in big breakthrough on a case" Lisa rolled her eyes. Carla gave her a tight squeeze and a kiss on her jaw before she let the other woman get changed. Once she was ready she turned to leave the room but was greeted by Carla stood against the door frame. "I'm a lucky woman you know" Carla said to her self. "Do you need me to fetch Betsy from her friends later" she questioned.

"Please. I will meet you at the pub" Carla nodded.
"Why do I have to leave. Today was supposed to be our day" Lisa said sadly as she walked into Carla's arms. "Hey we have our whole lives to sit on the sofa doing nothing. Now go save the world" Carla replied not letting go of the woman. "God I love you Carla Connor" Lisa smiled causing shock on the brunettes face. Lisa panicked and went to apologise until she was cut off by her lips. "I love you too Lisa swain"

The both let out a little giggle that knew they was in love with each other but ever thought they would say it so soon. Yes they had been with each other for two months but still they both carried a lot of baggage.

Lisa pulled her down for another kiss. Before her phone buzzed. "I've really got to go Car" to which the brunette nodded.

"I will see you at the pub later yeah" Carla smiled pinching the woman's bum as she walked off. "You're such an ass woman" Lisa laughed as she walked out the door.

Carla laughed and decided she probably should get ready for the day since Betsy wanted picking up in a hour. She shot the girl a text and let her know what was happening.

Carla pulled up outside the girls friends house and waited for her to come out. "Hey kiddo" Carla smiled as she got into the car. "Connor" Betsy smiled with a nod of the head. "Your mum is at work still. She told me you wanted to go see the new deadpool movie" Carla said with a wiggle of the eyebrows. The girls face grew into a massive smile. "Please!"  "Are we stopping for sweets on the way!" Carla asked. To which the girl lent over the center of the car and gave her a hug.
