Part 10

A few hours later Lisa walked into the pub to find her girls sat with Ryan and Michelle. "Hey guys" the blonde smiled. Stood next the booth her lover and daughter was sharing. "Anyone want another drink?" She asked before sitting down to which they all agreed. "I will help" Michelle offered. Whilst stood that the bar Lisa couldn't help but look over to their girlfriend who shot her a wink. "You really love her don't you?" Michelle asked pulling her out of their bubble "more than anything" Lisa smiled. Luckily Michelle had made sure no one was around to listen. "I think you're lively but what I'm about to say is only Because she's my best friend. If you ever hurt her I will hunt you down and I know you're a police officer but I had to say it" Michelle said seriously. "I have no intention of hurting her. An if I ever do anything to upset her I give you permission to make me pay" she joked. Causing Michelle to smile. By the time jenny had finished making their drinks they were joking about something else. "You gonna join us later Jenny" Michelle asked. "I might have to" the older woman replied.

Once they got their drinks Lisa sat next to her daughter and wrapped her arm around her shoulder her hand grazing Carla's arm. "You had a good day love?" She questioned her daughter. "Yeah! Me and Carla went to the cinema to watch the new dead pool movie" the girl smiled.

"Your joking you went without me" Lisa grumbled. "Carla said it's what you get for ditching me for work" the girl laughed causing Lisa to lean over and slap the woman's arm playfully. "That is mean Connor" Lisa smiled lovingly at the other woman.

As the night went on Michelle made an effort to get to know Lisa and Betsy. She also enjoyed the two women trying their hardest to not look like a loved up couple. They decided to go back to Carla's to play board games. As long as Betsy could run home and get cards against humanity.

Once the got back to the flat Betsy and Ryan raced up the stairs leaving the three women to wait for the lift. "You two are disgusting  together you know that" Michelle laughed. "Are we that obvious?" Carla questioned. "No" Michelle with a cock of the eyebrow to wind the two women up. Which caused Carla to roll her eyes. Lisa lent into her girlfriend slightly. Her back pressed against the woman's front. "Now you're obvious" Carla's friend laughed. "Yeah because she's drunk" Carla smiled as she wrapped her arms around her lover. She pushed her girlfriend into the lift and lent over to press a kiss to her cheek whispering as quietly as possible "I love you baby" Lisa's face broke out in a big grin but had to pull away before she would reply as the lift doors opened.

The five of the played games until Ryan fell asleep on the arm chair and Michelle and Betsy where asleep on the sofa. Carla managed to get Michelle to go to the spare bedroom whilst Lisa kissed her daughter goodnight. The two women headed to bed. Lisa borrowed some pjs and Carla put on some shorts and her hoodie. Once they got into the bed they both snuggled up facing each other. "Thank you for looking after Betsy today car" Lisa smiled. "Amy time. She's the best kid" Carla smiled as she took Lisa's hands realising she had put her wedding rings on her right hand. "You moved them?" Carla questioned. "Yeah. After Last night and this morning it felt right to do. The time I got with Bec was the best of my life. But my life is you now. You and Betsy" Lisa admitted. Pushing her nose against Carla's. "I love you" Carla smiled. "I love you to car." Lisa replied as she pulled the woman in for a kiss.

They had moved so that Carla's face was pressed against the others neck in a comfortable silent when Lisa broke it. "Michelle threatened me earlier if I break your hear" with a small giggle. "Ehhh.. she had no right to do that" Carla said looking up. "It's ok she was trying to protect you" Lisa replied as she pulled on Carla's arm to told her tighter. "Not that she had to worry because as confirmed on the night of our first kiss. It's going to be hard to get rid of me. And now you have my daughter that loves you so your stuck" kiss whispered turning her head to kiss the other forehead.
