Carla and Lisa

Part 11

Carla and Lisa on mission get everyone side was in full swing. Michelle was already happy they were together and well Roy he not so much. Lisa often went in for a morning coffee. And would try her hardest with both Nina and Roy. But she would be waiting out with dead eyes from Nina.

So they decided to go for lunch together. Thinking if Roy saw them together and saw that they could be friends Maybe they would be happy for them. So that's where they were walking along the street to Roy's for lunch. Carla had poped in to station to invite the DS for lunch. Their arms where linked as they where walking. Like any other friends would to. Right?  "Darling we've got a week to get Roy onboard this better work" Lisa said as they walked. "Well if he hates this that's his fault he will come around when he realises how in love with you I am" Carla smiled as she pushed the door open. Lisa walked in first smiling lovingly at her lover Carla patted the woman's bum to get her through the door.

"Roy! Hello. How are you" Carla smiled as she stepped around the counter to hug the man. Lisa stood there awkwardly. Once they pulled smash Carla came and stood next to the woman. "Two coffees please Roy. And a toastie. What you having lees" "I will have the same please Roy". He nodded his head and went to work. The woman sitting at Carla's normal table.

"Roy make your self a coffee as well" Carla called. The woman sat opposite each other. "Calm down." Carla whispered. Lisa nodded. "Betsy working hard?" Lisa asked. "Oh for sure. She's my best worker. When she's not gossiping with beth and sally" Carla smiled. "Do you think they will gossip about us when it's out in the open?" The blonde asked. "Is the pope catholic. I think that's the most silliest thing I've ever heard you say" Carla laughed kicking the woman slightly under the table. Lisa leaned over to slap the woman on her arm. "Rude Connor rude. That's you sleeping in your own bed tonight" Lisa whispered with a pout on her face. Which caused Carla to gasp. "You'd miss me to much" Carla smirked. Before Lisa could argue Roy brought over their food then coffees before joining them as Carla requested. "Now Roy. I know your not Lisa here biggest fan. And she has become a very dear friend of mine. So I thought a chat over a coffee would do us all good" Carla started wanting to get the awkwardness out of the way. "Roy I need to apologise. For everything. I thought I was doing the right thing but Carla has told me off enough to know how wrong I was" Lisa admitted. "Well that's a start. You had a job to do." Roy muttered into his coffee. "Good glad that's out there way." "I didn't even know you two were friends" Nina bumps in as she sits with a cup of tea next to Lisa. The women made conversation with Roy and Nina.

Both walking out knowing they had a better chance of a better reaction to their relationship in a weeks time.
