Carla and Lisa

Part 40

The week had gone very slowly for both Carla and Lisa.

Carla was sat waiting for Josh on the Friday night when she felt a pair of hands on her shoulders. She turned around and found the blonde seating at her. "Lisa. What?" She whispered as she pulled the woman into her. "I thought I would suprise you. Kit said he would cover me" the blonde smiled as she placed her hands on Carla's shoulders as she stood in between her legs. "Hey are you ok?" Lisa asked after a moment. "Yeah I'm just surprised" Carla smiled as she pulled her in for a kiss.

"A good surprise I hope" Lisa smirked as she placed her hands on Carla's waist. "The best" she replied. Pulling her in for another kiss. "I've missed this beautiful face" the brunette whispers.

They eventually pulled away from one and other and ordered them selves bottle of wine to share over they catch up. "As amazing as this is love. I must ask how are you here?" Carla asked after taking a sip of her wine. "Works slow, Betsy is at a sleepover and well i thought I could use those spa services whilst your working tomorrow" Lisa smiled. "Oh did you now. You're not here to see me at all are ya. Just using me for the spa" Carla laughed putting a hand on her thigh. "Busted" Lisa laughed.

The two of the was stuck in conversation when Lisa went quite. Carla looked up to see who her fiancée was staring at. Shit she thought to her self. She had forgot Josh was here. And Hayden.

"Car we need to go" Lisa hurried staring up trying to squeeze past Carla. "Leese. Wait. Sit down" Carla grabbed her lovers arm and pulled her down "no Carla we need to go. Now!" Lisa stated. Trying to stand up again as Josh walked over. "Love sit down" Carla told her again.

Josh scooted himself into the opposite side of the booth after Carla told him to sit down 

"Car. You don't understand. I can't. I do t want to be here" Lisa explained. Carla brought her lovers hand to her mouth and placed a kiss to her palm. "Please. Just hear Josh out."

"You know who he is don't you. Why didn't you tell me" Lisa argued visibly angry. "He and Hayden here was going to travel home with me tomorrow and we was going to talk to you."

"You know who he is?" Lisa was confused. "Josh and I have done a few of these weeks together. Neither of us realised until I showed a picture of you and bets" Carla explained.

"I don't understand. Why didn't you tell me car?" Lisa questioned feelings by betrayed. "Because Josh and I thought it would be good to do this in person darling"

"He doesn't get to decide what's best for me. He lost that right a long time ago" Lisa unthreaded her hand from Carla's.

"Leese I'm sorry love. But I made the decision I should be there to support you when you found out." Carla reasoned. "I'm so angry with you right now" Lisa was now grumpy and pouting.

"You said she would say that" Josh laughed. Which got a death stare from Lisa and slap on Carla's arm from the blonde. "Hey. I'm sorry I know you soo..." Carla was silenced by Lisa's finger on her lip. Carla to kiss her finger and pull her hand into her lap.

"Anyway. Can we just get this over with so I can forget it happened" Lisa grumbled. A slight smirk on her face. She couldn't stay mad at Carla who was playing with her engagement ring.

"So." Josh smiled. "Lisa I've been looking for you for 20 years. I regret everything that was said that night with mum and dad." Making the effort to look into his sisters eyes seeing her flinch at the mention of their parents. Carla felt her flinch and wrapped an arms around Lisa's waist.

"You don't get to regret everything Josh. The things you said were disgusting that night." Lisa spat.

"Trust me leese I regret every word I said" Josh almost whispered looking down. Reaching for his husbands hand. "That night. You did what I couldn't do. Every work was said out of jealousy, want and coward ness" he admitted.

"I wanted to be brave and tell them I was gay too. But I couldn't. Mum had me wrapped around her finger." The man said. Tears in his eyes. "I wanted to find you and speak to you but I couldn't find you. I... we have been looking for years."

Lisa has been so focused on her brother and not wanting to kill Carla she hadn't noticed the man next to him. That's when she noticed them holding hands. Her eyes softened.

"Josh I want to hate you. I really really do. But when I look at you. I see what I saw in myself all those years ago. And to be honest Josh. I want my baby brother back. I want our daughter to grow up knowing the Josh I knew as a kid." Lisa was now crying. Carla wrapped her arm around her lover. Pressing a kiss to her lovers head. Lisa finally melted into her lover playing with the brunettes engagement ring.

"It will take a long time for me to trust you again Josh. But I want to get to know you and. Ermm your partner" Lisa smiled realising she didn't know the man's name. "Hayden" the man smiled.

"Thank you. This means the world to me" Josh smiled reaching his free hand for Lisa's free hand. The all sat there smiling. Josh listened to the full story of how Lisa and Carla had got together as well as all about Betsy and their cat Cassie. She also mentioned parts about Becky. She didn't fully trust him yet to tell him the raw truths she had told Carla during the course of their relationship.

The women also sat and listened to Josh and Hayden discuss their life together.

At somepoint Lisa's pout towards her fiancée turned into a smile.
