The three of them settled into their family home nicely. They spent the week getting everything just perfect. Turning the house into their family home.

Lisa and Carla had managed to christen most rooms in the house. Only being caught the once by Betsy in the utility room.

They embraced the usual sassiness and shouting. To be fair they did promise to keep everything in their own bedroom. But as Carla argued that was a promise made in the flat but Betsy quickly made them promise in the house.

Carla had started to wake up before Lisa after realising what she was missing out on. But today however it was Lisa's turn. She woke her up in her usual style of kissing her way up her neck waiting for Carla to pull her ontop of her.

"I'm so glad we got a new bed" Carla mumbled against her lovers lips.

"Comfiest bed ever" Lisa smiles as she snuggles into her lover. "Can we just stay here all day?" Lisa mumbled nuzzling her nose against the side of Carla head. "Don't have to ask me twice" Carla smiled. Running her hands up and down her lower back.

"Your supposed to be a positive influence Conor" Lisa replied pulling away and looking into her lovers eyes giving her a fake glare. "Please when have I ever been i positive influence when it comes to starting the day. Swain" Carla replied pulling away her hands wandering.

Lisa didn't bother fighting she just settled in her lovers arms for a few moments longer.

They slowly got ready for their day. Lisa had dropped her girls off at work promising to see them at lunch. She gave her lover a kiss on the lips goodbye and the exchanged their love to one another and she headed off.

The day had been busy. They had a massive order on the line and nothing seemed to be going to plan. Sally had called in sick. Izzy's machine had broke and all Sean and Betsy seemed to be doing was chatting.

Carla was slowly loosing her will to live. Her mood only grew when she recived a message from Lisa cancelling on her for lunch.

Carla had a client in at 3pm and she needed to get her mood shifted. But if anything her staff was making it worst. She had Sarah in her ear talking about Adam. Betsy had gone back to her old ways and the order wasn't even half way complete.

Then the client arrived they were met by chaos. Sean and fizz were falling out. Betsy was on her phone and there was material everywhere.

"Betsy!" She had shouted at her daughter. "Mum!" Betsy replied.
"Get off your phone" Carla replied. She hated shouting at her daughter but she just wasn't listening.

Carla tried to convince them to stay but they soon practically ran out the building. When the door slammed shut behind them. Carla finally lost her rag

"I hope you're all happy! I've just lost business thanks to you lot!" She shouted. Getting everyone's attention.

"This isn't a playground!" She continued.

"How is this our fault!" Kirk demanded.

"Not your fault! Not your fault!"
"You two have been fighting all day like school kids" she started pointing at fizz and Sean. "You were messing with the material" she pointed to Izzy. "Kirk you where singing at the top of your voice"

"And you. Well I'm disappointed in you Betsy. My own daughter didn't even have my back today. You've gone back to your old ways" Carla's voice cracked. Betsy knew she had messed up. When Carla grabbed her coat and stormed out.

Betsy called her mum crying that she had let Carla down. So Lisa finished work as soon as possible and went to find her fiancée.

She found her on their back garden with a bottle of wine and a cigarette in her hand.

"Didn't know you smoked" Lisa said as she approached her lover. Taking and seat next to her.

"I do today" Carla told her taking a long drag.

"Why are you sat out here it's freezing" Lisa shivered snuggling closer to her lover. "Haven't got a key have I. Left it this morning" Carla moaned. "How did you get on the garden then babe" Lisa questioned.

"The bin. Climbed over" Carla smirked. "Now that I want to see" Lisa laughed. "Ayy I'm a ninja me" Carla argued. Finally letting out a smile.

"So what happened today. Betsy called me saying she's let you down." Lisa questioned. Carla let out a huff. She knew she had been harsh on her daughter.

"It was a total shit show today. We had a massive order to complete. No one was helpful. And well Betsy got it in the neck the most." Carla told her lover.

"She's been on her phone all day. Not completed one pair of pants and she was well she's my daughter. She's not had a day like this in months." Carla started to cry and the thought of the words she had said to her daughter.

"Your aloud to be annoyed car. They cost you business. As for Betsy. She's should know better than anyone days she's needs to be serious. She heard how stressed you was last night" Lisa explained. Her hand being taken by Carla. The brunette played with her engagement ring.

"I shouldn't have said what I said" Carla cried. Lisa pulled her in for a hug.

"She's a kid she will forget about it" Lisa smiled kissing her lovers hair. "She's 18 next month she's hardly a baby" Carla smiled. "She will always be my baby" Lisa smiled.

"Our little girl in there needs her mam so can we place get out of the cold and go and see her" Lisa told her lover. Who gave her a nod.

"Mum. I'm so sorry" Betsy told as they walked into the kitchen. Carla just pulled her in for a hug. "No im sorry. I'm sorry for what I said" Carla admitted. Kissing her daughter's head.

"No I am. I knew how important today was and I just fobbed it off" Betsy said.

"Am I forgiven?" Carla asked pulling away from her daughter tucking the loose ends of her hair from her face. "Am I?" The girl asked after giving her mum a nod. "Of course sweetheart" Carla smiled kissing her forehead.

"Have you been smoking?" Betsy asked when they pull away. Carla bowed her head. "You don't smoke!" Betsy deadpanned.

"I do when I'm very stressed" Carla laughed. "No more of that. You stink" Betsy told her matter of factly.

"It's one cigarette once a month at most" Carla laughed. "Your gross" Betsy pulled a face and walked off.

Carla looked at her lover for defence but Lisa shook her head. "She's right" Lisa told her.

"No more!" Lisa told her. Pointing her finger. "And I can't belive you kept this from me" Carla raised an eyebrow. "I'm marrying a dirty smoker" Lisa growled.

"Give over" Carla laughed as she wrapped her arms around her lover. She lent in for a kiss. "Nope. Go brush your teeth" Lisa told her.

"This day is getting worst" Carla stropped. As she went upstairs to brush her teeth. "Then don't smoke!" Both her girls shouted
