Carla and Lisa

Part 19

Lisa made a steady recovery from her injury. She had Carla fuss over her the whole time and Betsy's for a few days until she could get a better off of going out with her mate. Lisa finally felt like she was up for a walk today. So at lunch time the two of them had a steady walk to Roy's. As the wheels about to walk in they saw Adam and Daniel stood on the corner. "All right" Carla smiled to her ex in laws. "Can't believe you're walking around with a WOMAN on your arm when you got divorced with Peter" Adam exploded.

"I'm sorry?!?" Carla's eyebrows shot to the top of her head. "Rubbing it in that you've left Peter" Daniel spoke up. "I don't know how you dare! Peter was the one that left me. And he's already got him self another woman!" She replied. Getting angry. "I think you're more upset that Carla has a woman on her arm" Lisa piped up. "Oh definitely. The Barlows are family until you get a divorce then they are jelous psychos!" Carla yelled to the two men. "Grow up the pair of you!" She continued. Which caused them to scoff. "If Peter asks I'm over him. And very happy living my lesbian life" Carla smiled and she pulled Lisa in for a kiss. Both men rolled their eyes and walked away.

When the pulled away the both let out a laugh. "I don't think the barlows will be on our side" Lisa laughed. "I knew a run in with them was coming. Pathetic the lot of them" Carla smiled. "Oi calm down" Lisa smiled rubbing her hands up and the others arms. "Now we going for lunch or what?" Carla nodded will evidently annoyed. "Car don't let them get to you."

"I know it's just the fact that Peter has moved on why can't they and just be normal human bringing"

"Because love, life would be to simple then" Lisa laughed squeezing her lovers hand. "Their opinion doesn't matter. All that matters is me you and Betsy. When she's not being a madam anyways" Lisa laughed which also caused Carla to laugh.

When they got to the cafe the made their usual order and sat on the usual table. "Lisa how you feeling?" Roy asked when he came out from his flat. "Good thank you Roy. This one has taken excellent care of me" she smiled sweetly. "Good to hear" he smiled.

They ate their food and headed to the factory for Carla to drop some paper work off at the factory.
Also an excuse to check up on Betsy. "Shall we wind her up?" Lisa asked. Carla nodded. When they walked into the factory. Carla shouted. "Little swain my office now. I know what you've done!" The girl spun around confused. "I've not done anything Connor!" She replied walking behind them into the office. "I know you haven't. Just wanted to check everyone is on their best behaviour whilst I've been out of the office" Carla asked. "You're actually children. Both of you" Betsy laughed shacking her head. "But mum it's good to see you out the house" she smiled.

Since carla came into their lives the two of them have been getting on amazingly. They both go to her to vent about each other and she is the voice of reason. Betsy had grown to see Carla as a mother figure in her life. And above all else was grateful she made her mum happy since it got her off her back more.

Lisa pulled her daughter in for a hug. "We've brought you food" "thanks" the girl smiled and kissed her mums cheek. "I'm gonna go eat with the rest of them" she smiled. "We not cool enough for ya" Carla smirked. "My mother and boss/her partner/ my step mum. I don't think so. I'm off to gossip"

"We're not cool" Lisa pouted. "Oh where cool alright" Carla smiled as she wrapped her arms around her lovers waist. Lisa pulled her in for a kiss. "Oh sorry" Sarah said walking into the office. The two women pulled away smiling. "I'm just dropping off some paperwork and picking some up" Carla smiled avoiding the fact sarah had caught them.

Carla did what she needed whilst Lisa sat in her chair "it suits you sitting in the bosses chair" Carla smiled. "Might have to sit in it more often" Lisa smiled. "Oh darling I've loved spending all day with you this past two weeks" Carla smiled and she leant over to be face to face with her girlfriend placing her hands on the arms of the chair trapping her lover in. "It's been the best hasn't it" Lisa smiled. "It really has" Carla leaned in for a kiss. Lisa's hands ran up the brunettes sides. "Let's make most of the free flat shall we" the DS whispered into her lovers ear. Which made Carla groan
