Carla and Lisa

Part 35

Today was the day that Carla would propose to Lisa. Christmas was amazing and they were currently staying in a lake side air b&b in the Peak District.

They had planned to go for a family walk around the lake at lunch time where Carla would propose. She and Betsy had it all planned.

Three months ago they had gone shopping for the ring she would use to propose to. They had gone to the shopping center and Carla had spent hours looking at different rings until she found the perfect one. It had been one Betsy had pointed to.

It was an oval white opal surrounded by diamonds with a gold band. "Bets it's perfect" she had said to the girl "mum is going to love this car" Betsy had said the woman. Carla had pulled her in the for a hug and kissed her forehead. "Thank you for letting me go this" Carla smiled. That night the two of them as so giddy Lisa had questioned them for hours both managing to keep it in.

Lisa knew something was up. Both Betsy and Carla kept exchanging looks of excitement. So she decided to make a plan to get it out of Carla. Little did she know in less than a few hours time she would be being proposed to.

Lisa snuck up behind her lover who was in her underwear trying to get dressed for the day. She wrapped her arms around her waist and pulled her against her front. She started to leave a trail of kisses down her lovers shoulders. Her hands started to wander. Pushing Carla's underwear out the way.

Carla turned in her lovers arms. "Baby" Carla loaned slightly wrapping her arms around Lisa's neck. "Please don't start something we can't finish" Carla begged.

"Who says we can't finish it" Lisa smirked kissing her lover. Her hands wandering to Carla's bum. "Leese" Carla complained. She didn't manage to stop her self from kissing her soon to be hopefully fiancée. Lisa pulled her backwards and pulled her ontop of her on the bed.

Lisa's hands were wandering she managed to flip her lover making sure she was ontop. Before they could go any further she pulled away. She hand Carla's arms pinned above her head. "Tell me what you and Betsy are hiding" Lisa smirked. Not letting go of Carla's arms. "Nothing!" Carla lied. "Carla Connor I know when you're lying." Lisa replied the faces agonisingly close. "Baby I'm not" Carla lied again. "Not that you often lie to me but when you do your right nostril flares abit" Lisa smiles informing her lover. Which caused Carla to laugh. "Baby please just leave it. I promise you." Carla told the blonde. "I will find you out Conner" Lisa narrowed her eyes at her lover. "Oh I believe you will" Carla laughed wiggling her arms out of Lisa's grip and and sitting them up so that Lisa is straddling her lap. "Oh so there is something!" Lisa joked. "Betsy!!" Carla shouted the girl who came into their room. Quickly covering her eyes at her mum straddling her half naked step mum. "Please tell me there is a reason you've shouted me in here other than to scare me" Betsy pouted. "Please tell your mother we aren't hiding anything" Carla told the girl. "Mum we aren't hiding anything! Now can I go beofre I throw up" Betsy complained slamming the door behind her.

Lisa kissed her lover once more and said "I will find you both out Connor as she walked out the room. Carla quickly got her self ready for the day.

As planned they went for their walk around the lake. Carla could feel her heart racing the closer they got the the spot she and the girl had found. Once they got to it they took a moment to look the the scenery. "Hey Bets will you take a picture of me and mum" Carla asked her step daughter. The girl nodded and told them to smile. Carla then pulled her in for a kiss. Once they pulled away betsy started to films them. With Lisa distracted by some ducks swimming past Carla got down on one knee.

Lisa turned around and saw her lover she let out a little gasp "Lisa. I have loved you for almost 2 years. You have shown me what it's like to be loved. You given me a home. A family. You let me love your little girl like she's my own. I've never loved anyone like I love you. So Lisa. Will you do me the honor of a life time of becoming my wife?" Both of them were crying. Even Betsy had a tear in her eye. "Yes. Yes of course I will" Lisa smiled. Carla pulled her self up to a normal height and pulled her lover in for a kiss. When they pulled away Carla with very shakey hands slipped the ring on her finger. "Car. I. I'm lost for words baby" Lisa smiled kissing her again pulling her in for a hug.

When they pulled away the waved Betsy to come and join them. The three of them stood in a cuddle for a while. Lisa lent down to place a kiss on the crown of Betsy's head.

"You like the ring mum" Betsy smiled taking her mums hand. "I love iT bets" she smiled. "Bets chose the ring I'm going to have to be honest there" Carla smiled. "You knew about this?" Lisa questioned. "She gave me her blessing beofre I had thought about proposing" Carla told her fiancée. As they started to walk again. "Really bets?" Lisa questioned. "Mum I knew you both was going to spend you lives together. I just thought Carla needed a little push" the girl answered honestly.

After a while of walking hand in hand Lisa turned to her girls and said "wait so this is what you've been hiding from me!" Both Betsy and Carla burst out laughing. "Yep!" Betsy smiled.

"I knew I wasn't going insane. At least I know you both can't lie to me" the blonde joined with their laughter. "Trust me I hated lying to you but at least it was for a good cause" Carla explained.

"The best" Lisa smiled as she lifted her hand and kissed it.

That night the two of them where lay in bed Lisa against Carla's chest watching some tv when Lisa said "we should get you a ring".

"Hmm that will be nice. Will be sad to take my promise ring off though" Carla admitted. "Baby please I've took mine off. It looks good on your middle finger." Lisa smiled playing with the ring on Carla's finger.
