Carla and Lisa

Part 44

On Saturday the three women showed Josh and Hayden around the street. They introduced them to Roy and Nina when they went to breakfast wanting to give the old man a heads up on the new people that will be at their family dinner and introduced them to Jenny also when they popped into the pub for some drinks in the everning. They all seemed to be getting on well.

Betsy had settled down and was becoming more accepting of uncles. Not that she called them that yet. She still felt to raw in emotion of what her mother had been put through.

But she was slowly becoming more open to the men.

Sunday morning Carla found Lisa sat at the table nursing a coffee. Carla gave her a smile as she walked to the kettle to turn it on. And get her mug ready for the hot water. Whilst waiting for the kettle she made her way to her lover. Lisa turned in her chair for Carla to stand in between her legs. The brunette bent down and placed a kiss on the crown of her lovers head. Tucking the hair that's fallen out of her messy ponytail.

Lisa wrapped her hands around her lover placing them on her bum. "Last day in our little old flat" Lisa smiled looking up at her lover. "Mmm I know. So much has happened here" Carla smiled.

"Our first kiss was in this very kitchen" Lisa replied biting her lip.

"I decided I was going to marry you in the living room" Carla told her.

"Betsy called you mum for the first time in the hallway" Lisa grinned.

"I think I might miss this place" Carla told her. "Me too" Lisa mumbled as she kissed her lovers stomach. Nuzzling her nose into her lower stomach. Letting out a content sigh as Carla tickled the back of her neck. "Love you car" Lisa mumbled after a while. "Love you too baby"

Their moment was interrupted by the sound of footsteps entering the kitchen. "Oo sorry" Josh smiles. Unsure weather to turn around or join them. Lisa placed a kiss to her lovers stomach before pulling away.

"Your ok" Carla smiled delaying pulling away from her lover. Until the kettle started to whistle. Lisa gave her a small pat on the bum as her lover pulled away. "Coffee?" She asked the man as she poured her own. "Please" he smiled as he sat opposite his sister.

Carla soon joined them at the table. Once Betsy and Hayden was up Carla got to work on breakfast. Making them blueberry pancakes. "You don't cook sis?" Josh laughed as Betsy and Carla got to work whilst she sat and watched. The question caused both Carla and Betsy to snigger.

"Nope. In the words of Betsy over there. 'I never had the gift'" she laughed.

Later that evening the five of them with Roy, Nina, Ryan, Bobby, Kate and Michelle they were all tucked into the living room. "Car that Sunday dinner was amazing" Kate smiled. Giving her sister a high five "Bets and Hayden helped as well" Carla informed them.

"Let me guess Josh. Cooking isn't in your genes too" Michelle joked.

"You would be right there." The man said causing them all to laugh. "Oi you. You said that spaghetti Bolognese was nice I made you that time" Lisa argued. From her lovers arms. "Oh yeah" Michelle joked. "How am I being bullied in my own home!" Lisa pouted.

"Mum just admit it" Betsy joked poking her mums leg.

"Never. Car tell them" Lisa moans. "Stop being mean you lot. Or you won't get your wedding invites." Carla threatened them.

They all suddenly went quiet. Lisa jumped up and got the invites out of their room. "May I?" Lisa questioned her loved wiggling her eyebrows.

Carla nodded her head smiling. She passed each of them their invites Josh and Hayden shared one the rest had on each.

They all opened them at the same time. The date was show as the 17th of August. Betsy's asked her if she would walk Lisa down the aisle and be their maid of honor. Nina, Kate and Michelle's asked them to be their bridesmaids, Roy's asked him to walk Carla down the aisle. Ryan's asked if he would be their ring holder and Bobby their usher.

Josh and Hayden may not have had a special role but they were thankful they where being invited. They all had tears In their eyes. Nina Kate and Michelle hugged the two women yes. And Betsy kissed her mother's cheeks in thanks.

Carla went over to Roy and asked him if it was ok. To which he replied "Carla. I would be honoured to walk you down the aisle. It's obvious you and Lisa love each other"

The brunette hugged the old man for a while. Ryan and Bobby have each woman a fist bump.

Later that night. Josh and Hayden managed to convince Michelle and Kate to take the spare room and they would sleep on the air bed in the living room. They all agreed to meet back at the flat at 10am to start moving with the help of vans.

Lisa found her lover sat at the dressing table staring at a photo. Lisa but her lip when she saw which photo she was looking at.

"I love that photo" the whispers as she comes to stand behind her lover wrapping her arms around her shoulders.

"Me too" Carla smiled as she tickled her fingers up and down one of Lisa's arm. "We should book another" Lisa told her.

"We have a wedding and honeymoon to pay for!" Carla demanded.

"We could find the money for one more family holiday as the swain-Connor's" Lisa smiled as she nudged Carla's bum over so that they were sharing the seat. "Can I also remind you we have just brought a house" Carla protested again.

"Please" Lisa pouted.

Carla let out a huff with a smile so her lover knew she was joking. "Fine" she drew out. Lisa placed a kiss to her cheek. "No where to expensive though" Carla laughed as she stood to get ready for bed. "So no to Australia" Lisa joked as she sat and took her makeup off.

"Give over" Carla laughed as she settled in bed. "We going Jamaica for our honeymoon. How about Italy?" She asked her lover who was stripping for bed. The brunettes eyes couldn't help but wander.

"Will there ever be a day I will be able to get undressed without you staring at me" Lisa smiled as she got into her side of the bed Carla immediately wrapping her arms around her.

"Baby if I ever stop taking every chance to check you out it's because the dementia has taken over" Carla smirked.

"You really do love me ayy" Lisa laughed.

"Have you forgot I'm going to be your wife" Carla replied nudging her onto her back.

"I can not wait to be your wife" Lisa smiled pulling Carla in for a kiss. Carla pulled her self to straddle her lover.

"We were in this position three years ago." Lisa mumbled through the kiss. Her hands playing with Carla's bum. "Our last night in our first home" Carla smiled.

"Who would have thought we would be here. To be married, about to move into the house we brought together and a stable family life" Lisa smiled. Pulling Carla impossibly closer for a kiss.

"I love you Lisa Swain" Carla mumbled into her lovers lips.

"I love you Carla Connor"
