I start hearing yelling and run outside. Somethings coming down from the Ark.
"Bellamy!" Octavia yells. He runs over standing next to us.
"They're coming to help us. Now we can kick some grounder ass."
"Please tell me they brought down some shampoo." I hear a girl say. I smile softly at the comment truly glad we don't have mirrors to see my reflection.

We meet up in a tent to talk.
"If it cleared the ridge, it's probably near the lake." Jones says.
"We should get moving. Everyone's ready."
"No ones going anywhere. Not while it's dark. It isn't safe. We'll head out at first light. Pass the word." Bellamy says. He's not being serious right now. The men run out listening to him. He tries to follow them out but I grab his arm.

"Everyone for 100 miles saw this come down. What if the grounders get to it first?" I ask narrowing my eyes slightly.
"Bell, we should go now." Octavia tries.
"I said we wait until sunrise." He says looking at us both before walking out. I look over and meet Octavia's eyes. Something isn't right. I sigh and walk out as well.

I walk to my tent and start braiding my hair just wanting it out of my face, while trying to think of why Bellamy wants to wait. Once I'm done, I walk out and look in his tent for him. Hoping he's had time to think. He's not here. My mind starts to race as I run out and scan the area around me.

He definitely left to go find it, since he doesn't want us to contact the Ark. I look around making sure no one is out of their tents and make my way out.

I keep walking as the sun starts coming up.

I finally start getting close to the lake and see someone running.
"Bellamy?" I call out. He freezes turning to me.
"What are you doing?" He asks calmly.
"What are you doing?" I say running up to him.
"You were supposed to wait." He glares.
"You lied to everyone. What did you do?" I ask.
"I got rid of the radio." He says casually starting to walk.
"Bell." I say softly following next to him. He doesn't respond and continues walking. I grab his arm and move my body infront of him. "Bellamy." I try again this time with a stern tone. His eyes search mine before they find their way to the floor.
"If they come back, they're killing me." He says barely above a whisper.

"They said we'd be forgiven." I say softly hoping he'd look up at me so I could try to read his expression.
"They won't forgive you for killing the chancellor. You and I both know that." He says. He's right.
"What else was in it?" I ask.
"There was a girl in there."
"Who was it?"
"I don't know. Never seen her before."

"Let's get back to camp and pretend we never left." Bellamy says. I nod. As much as I hate this idea, it might be the only one that keeps him from being killed.

"Hey!" We hear Clarke yell. Bellamy keeps walking and I stop for her, sighing.
"Where is it?" She asks grabbing his arm.
"Hey, you taking a walk in the woods too?" He asks innocently.
"They're getting ready to kill 300 people up there to save oxygen." She says.
"What?" I ask feeling my heart drop.
"And I can guarantee you it won't be council members. It'll be working people. Your people."

"Bellamy. Where's the radio?" Finn asks walking over with a girl. He pushes him. Bellamy pushes him back.
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
"Cmon Nova, you know where Bellamy put it?" Finn asks. I don't know how to respond, but thankfully the other girl speaks up.
"Bellamy Blake? They're looking everywhere for you." The girl says.
"Shut up." Bellamy says quickly, clearly not wanting the reason being said.
"Looking for him why?" Clarke asks.
"He shot chancellor Jaha."

"That's why you took the wristbands. Needed everyone to think we're dead."
"And all that 'whatever the hell we want' you just care about saving yourself." Finn adds.
"Did you know?" Clarke asks looking at me. I don't know what to say.

I glance up at Bellamy and he starts walking away.

The girl grabs him.
"Shooter! Where's my radio?"
"Get out of my way."
"Where is it?"
"I should've killed you when I had the chance."
"Well, I'm right here." She says. Bellamy grabs her and pushes her to a tree. We run over watching as she pulls out a knife.

"Bellamy stop." I say. He lets her go.
"Jaha deserved to die. You all know that."
"Yeah, he's not my favorite person, either. But he isn't dead."
"What?"
"You're a lousy shot."

I walk over to him.
"You're not a murderer. You can help save 300 people, Bell. Innocent people." I say looking at him carefully.
"It's too late."
"What did you do?" I ask.
"I threw it in the river."

We get back to camp and get backup to help find it.

I'm looking with Bellamy as we stand ankle deep in cold water.
"Happy birthday, Nov." He says breaking our silence. I look up at him surprised he'd remembered.
"Thank you." I feel the ends of my lips curl up. Bellamy returns the smile before continuing to look.

"Hey, I found it!" Jones yells. Raven runs and brings it to where we meet in the middle.
"Can you fix it?" Clarke asks.
"Maybe. But it'll take half a day just to dry out the components to see what's broken."
"Like I said, it's too late." Bellamy says with a defeated tone.

"Do you have any idea what you did?" Clarke asks getting in his face.
"You asked me to help. I helped."
"300 people are gonna die today because of you."

"Hold on. We don't have to talk to them to show we're alive." I say really just wanting the fighting to end. All we need to do is show them a sign of us down here, we don't necessarily need a radio.
"Yeah, but how do we do that with no radio?" Finn asks.
"Flares." Raven says smirking. I nod.

We get back to camp and Raven instructs us on how to set them up. God, this girl is a genius. I don't think anyone at camp would know how to do this.

We continue working until it gets dark.
"And set fire." She says.

I stand back and watch as three purple flares go up into the air.

"You think they can see it from up there?" Bellamy asks standing next to me as we both watch the flares explode into purpleness.
"I don't know. I hope so. But they're pretty." I whisper.
"Yeah they are."
"I love how the sky is purple now. It's my favorite color." I smile looking away from the sky to look at him only to see him smile back at me.
"So technically because of me, we made the sky light up purple for your birthday." He says with a smirk.
"Not that anyone else knows but yes." I say laughing softly.
"Everyone!" Bellamy yells. Heads turn to face him. "Just wanted to tell you guys it's Novas birthday today. She survived being floated!" He says putting his arm around my shoulders to shake me.

Everyone cheers and starts wishing me a happy birthday.

"Happy birthday to you..." Jasper starts singing and everyone else joins in while Bellamy looks at me with the biggest smile. I laugh as they finish the song.

I look around and realize someone's missing.
"Bellamy." I say.
"What? Did you not like my singing?" He asks.
"No, not that. Where's Octavia?" I ask. He looks up and his head turns as he looks through everyone around us.

"Octavia!" He yells letting go of me to start walking around.
