Chapter 6 I Shopping Centre

It was a Sunday.

The squad and I were in the 2 cars driving towards the shopping centre.

The girls were in 1 car while the boys were in the other.

Bethany was driving the car. I didn't know who was driving the other car.

It was a couple of minutes later.

We arrived.

Bethany parked the car in an empty parking spot, and we all hopped out.

The boys weren't here yet.

We decided to stay and wait for them to arrive.

It was 35 seconds later.

The boys arrived.

They parked in the parking spot next to us. They hopped out.

"Were you 3 waiting for us?" Mack asked.

We nodded our heads. We all walked inside the shopping centre. We were walking around.

John found a games shop that he wanted to go to.

We all walked in and looked around.

I found a game that I wanted.

Mario Kart 8 for the switch.

Mack was next to me.

"Thank fuck I've got a switch," I said to Mack as I grabbed the game.

He laughed.

"Yeah, that's good." He laughed.

I found a few more games that I wanted.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate for the Switch, South Park: The Stick of Truth for the Xbox 1, and Halo for the PlayStation 5.

Now Bethany was next to me.

"Thank fuck I got a lot of money in my bank account. And no, I'm not telling you how much." I said to Bethany.

"Hm, fair enough, mate." She said.

It was 5 minutes later.

We left the shop.

We paid for what we wanted and left.

We continued walking around.

Eventually, I found a clothes shop that I wanted to go to.

We all went inside and started looking around.

Soon, I found a hoodie that I wanted. It has cartoon burgers with eyes.

"I need that. That hoodie describes me perfectly." I said, smiling.

Bethany laughed.

"Oh, it sure does, mate." She replied, smiling.

I grabbed it.

It was 7 minutes later.

We paid for our clothes and left.

For the entire time we were there, Bethany followed me.

I don't know why.

"Fuck me, I'm fucking starving, mate. I need food now; otherwise, I will tickle a fairy." Bethany complained next to me.

Some of us laughed, including me.

"Don't worry, we'll feed ya. Let's head to the food court." Big Paul said.

We all started walking towards the food court.

It was 45 seconds later.

We arrived.

"What do y'all want?" Mack said.

"Maccas," Bethany said.

"Does everyone here want McDonald's?" He asked.

We all said yes.

"McDonald's it is, then." He said.

We walked to McDonald's.

It was 5 minutes later.

We were all sitting at a table eating.

I ordered the Angus burger and a small Coke. Bethany ordered the Big Mac. Leah didn't order anything but bought pepperoni pizza from home. Mack ordered the chicken burger and frozen grape Fanta. Big Paul ordered the 6 nuggets and sweet and sour sauce. John ordered the large chips, barbecue sauce, and large frozen orange Fanta.

"Oh fuck oh, my fucking mouth had a fucking orgasm. That's how fucking good these are, mate." Bethany said.

Everyone except Leah laughed.

"Yeah, I bet." I laughed.

It was 34 minutes later.

We were finished eating.

Bethany checked the time on her watch.

"Oh fuck me, it's 6:47 pm. It's getting late. We should better head back. The shopping centre's about to close." She said.

I felt sad and disappointed. I wanted to hang out with them more, especially Bethany. She's so much fun to be around and hilarious.

We all stood up. We left the building and walked up to our cars. We all said goodbye and hugged. We hopped in the cars. Bethany started driving.

It was 6 minutes later.

We arrived at my house.

We said bye again, and I hopped out feeling sad and disappointed. I grabbed my bags and walked to the front door, and as I did so, I heard a car engine fading off into the distance.

I felt even more sad and disappointed.

I opened the front door and walked inside the house. I closed it.

The house is cold and quiet.

My mums are probably napping. Their work is hard, long, and tiring after all.

I walked upstairs and into my room. I closed the door. I lay down on my bed and grabbed my phone, which was in my front jeans pocket. I turned it on and started playing Bloons TD 6.
