Chapter 21 I House Party

It was 2 days later. It was a Monday.

The squad was at our table eating.

Mack came up to us with a huge grin plastered on his face.

"Guess what?" He asked smiling.

"What?" Big Paul asked.

"My parents are gonna be on vacation for the entire weekend. Once they're gone I'mma throw a party and you guys are invited and some others." He said smiling.

I was feeling quite excited.

"Way to go man." Big Paul said smiling.

"Well looks like we need to find a sick outfit for each of us. Do you want us to help you set up the party?" Beth asked.

"Yeah." He said.

In the corner of my eye, I could see Breanna and her minions walking up to us.

"Guys warning some bitches are approaching us," I said.

They all looked and John opened his mouth about to speak but Breanna spoke 1st.

"Did I hear you say party?" She asked.

"Yes, you deaf or something?" Beth asked sarcastically.

"Even if I was throwing 1 I wouldn't invite you anyways," Mack said angrily.

"And even if you were I still wouldn't come." She said.

She turned around and began to walk away.

"Then why did you come up here and ask?" Beth said but she didn't respond. "I swear she wants to cause trouble."

"So do I," I said.

"So what times and what day is the party?" John asked Mack.

"It's 7 PM on a Friday so you should come by and help me get ready at 6," Mack said.

We all nodded our heads.

It was 4 days later.

I was at Beth's house getting ready for the party.

We decided to get ready at her house.

I put on a black t-shirt, dark grey button-up shirt, grey jeans, black boots, black socks, grey beanie, grey panties and a bra that I bought from the clothes shop on Monday after school with Beth.

Beth put on a white t-shirt, black and blue flannel, blue leggings, black and white high tops, blue socks, black and blue panties and a bra that she bought from the shop.

Before we put our clothes on we styled each other's hair.

I swept her hair back and she swept mine to the side.

She walked up to me and kissed me as she put her hands on my hips. I did the same. She pulled away but didn't remove her hands.

"You ready?" She asked smiling.

I nodded my head smiling.

"Let's go." She said.

We left her room and walked to the front door.

"Have fun at the party." Her mum said.

It was 3 minutes later.

We arrived at Mack's house.

There were already 3 cars parked on the front lawn.

We must be the last ones to arrive.

We hopped out and walked up to the front door. Beth rang the doorbell and Mack opened it.

"Come in." He said.

He stepped aside so we could walk in. We walked in.

"The others are in the house already setting up. Beth can do the music and Mary can do the cups." He said.

It was an hour later.

We were done.

People were already streaming in.

There was a knock on the door. Mack answered it.

It was Breanna.

"I told you you're not invited. You should get your ears checked." He said angrily.

Before she could say anything he slammed the door on her face.

"Wanna go grab a drink?" Beth asked.

I nodded my head. We walked towards the table where the beer was and grabbed a cup each.

It was an hour later.

I was drunk.

I was dancing on the table to a song that was in my head.

"Mary get down from there," Beth called.

"No. I'm having so much fun. Why don't you come up here and party?" I slurred.

"No. I don't wanna injure you or myself. You know what I'm gonna get you down from there." She said worriedly.

She picked me up bridal style.

"You're a party pooper." I slurred.

She ignored me.

She put in her car and then she hopped in. She started driving.

It was 3 minutes later.

We were at her house.

She parked her car in the driveway and hopped out. She picked me up and carried me.

She carried me into her room and gently put me down on her bed. She took my button-up shirt, beanie, shoes, and socks off and she did the same with hers. She laid down next to me and wrapped her arm around me. She stroked my hair as she sang the more gentle version of Twinkle Song by Miley Cyrus.

"I love you." I blurted out smiling. 

"I love you too." She said smiling.

I closed my eyes smiling.

Eventually, I drifted off to sleep.
