It was a couple of weeks later.
It was Beth's birthday today.
We were at laser tag.
Sandy rented it out for the day so no one would come and ruin it.
We thought it'd be a great idea to have the teens compete against the parents, and everyone agreed.
The parents who came were my mums, Beth's mum, Mack's parents, John's dads, Big Paul's dad, and Leah's parents.
The gang was on 1 side as the officers were on the other.
"There are more of em than us, so they'll probably split up, so it'll probably be best if we stick together. And we can easily take em out, too," Beth whispered.
"I dips shooting my mums," I whispered.
"Ok we'll let you shoot em." She whispered.
"Where did you get such a brilliant idea from?" John whispered.
"I play a lot of cod, so it comes naturally. My team and I had a similar situation, and most of the time, we won. Don't talk, and try to be quiet. It'd be best if we took our shoes off just so it'd be hard for em to hear us, " she whispered.
We all nodded. We sat down on the ground and took our shoes off. We stood up, and Beth turned her head to the right a couple of times, indicating that we should go there. She started walking slowly, and we followed.
We were near the middle.
"Everyone take cover. I've got an idea." Beth whispered.
We all took cover.
"Everyone will hide except for 1. That person will be our bait. They will scream for help as loud as possible, and the parents may come. Once they come, we'll shoot em. So, who'll be our bait?" She whispered.
"I will. I'm known to be a loud screamer." Big Paul whispered.
"Ok, you can do it." She whispered.
"Where should I go?" He whispered.
"In the middle there," Beth whispered as she pointed to the middle.
He walked to the middle, looked at us, and waited. We all hid. Beth looked at Big Paul and nodded. He began screaming as loud as he could.
Soon, the parents came streaming in.
"Now!" Beth yelled.
We all shot at our parents, and I shot both of my mums.
"Haha, got you," I said to my mums.
"We won bitches!" Beth yelled excitedly.
Everyone shook hands, and the parents congratulated us.
