It was the 1st day of the spring holidays.
The gang and many people from school are gonna celebrate by having a beach party.
Beth was gonna pick me up, and the gang was gonna meet us there.
I was in my room getting dressed into my black and red flannel, dark grey shirt, black skinny jeans, black boots, black socks, black sports bra, and boy shorts.
Once I got dressed, I grabbed my phone from my nightstand and opened my messages app. I texted Beth.
Me: I'm ready
Beth: I'm on my way
I put my phone in my front pocket and left my room.
I entered the lounge room and waited.
It was a few minutes later.
There was knocking on the door.
I answered it.
It was Beth.
We embraced and then kissed.
It was 10 minutes later.
We were at the beach.
There were already lots of people there drinking, playing games, and making out.
I scanned for the gang.
I soon found them.
"Babe, I found the gang," I said as I pointed to them.
She looked at where I was pointing.
"Let's greet 'em." She said.
We walked up to them.
"Hey guys." Beth and I said at the same time.
They turned around and greeted us.
"Are you 2 that much in love that you can read each other's thoughts?" John asked.
"Dunno. We never tried it before." Beth said as she looked at John.
"Babe, we should try it," I said, smiling.
She turned her head to look at me. She was smiling.
"We should. I go 1st. I gotta try and read your thoughts." She said smiling.
She paused for several seconds.
"Are you thinking of tacos?" She asked.
"Nope, I was thinking about pizza. My turn." I said.
This was very exciting.
I focused so hard on trying to read her thoughts.
"Are you thinking of dogs?" I asked.
"Nah, I was thinking about cats. So no, we can't read each other's thoughts." She said.
It was an hour later.
I was already drunk.
I was standing in front of the food table.
I grabbed a slice of pizza and smeared it all over my face.
"I love you, pizza." I slurred.
It was a few hours later.
Beth and I were in her room, snuggling on her bed.
She took me to her house to make sure I didn't injure myself.
"I love you." I slurred, smiling.
"I love you too." She replied.
I felt exhausted, so I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
