It was a day later.
I woke up.
There was something warm around me.
I realised it was Beth's arm.
"What happened? Where am I?" I asked.
"Last night, we went to a beach party. You got drunk, smeared pizza all over your face, and told it you loved it. After that, I took you home, and now we're in my room snuggling on my bed," Beth replied.
I remembered what happened last night.
I cringed.
"You hungry?" She asked.
"Yeah," I replied.
"You want some brekkie?" She asked.
"Yeah," I replied.
She got out of bed, and I copied her. We embraced and then kissed.
We left her room and entered what I'm assuming is the kitchen.
"This is the kitchen, by the way." She said as she opened the fridge.
She closed it and then opened the pantry door.
"The only thing I have is Coco Pop. You want that?" She asked.
"Yeah," I said.
She grabbed a box of Coco Pops and put it on the counter.
"Do you want milk with it?" She asked.
"No. I don't like soggy cereal." I replied.
"Fair enough." She replied.
She began making 1 for me and 1 for herself.
Soon, she was done.
"Come." She said as she grabbed the bowls.
She left the kitchen, and I followed her. We entered what I assume is the dining room.
"This is the dining room, by the way." She said as she put the bowls down on the dining table.
She sat down, and I sat down next to her.
"I need to pop down to the shops. Wanna come?" She asked.
"Sure. Where's your mum?" I asked.
"On a business trip. So it's just the 2 of us." She said.
"That must suck," I said.
"Eh, I'm used to it." She replied.
We started to dig in.
I felt bad for Beth.
It was a few minutes later.
We were done.
We stood up and grabbed our bowls. We walked back into the kitchen and put them in the dishwasher.
"Wanna get ready now?" Beth asked.
"Yeah," I said.
We went into her room to get ready.
Once we were ready, we left her room and walked to the front door. Beth opened it, and we left the house. We hopped in her car, and she started driving.
It was a couple of minutes later.
We arrived at the shops.
Beth parked her car in an empty parking spot, and we hopped out.
We walked to the building and walked in.
It was 15 minutes later.
We were back at Beth's in the kitchen unpacking.
Before we started unpacking, she gave me a house tour.
Once we were done, we entered the lounge room and sat on the couch. She put on Lunatics, and I wrapped my arm around her. She put her arm on my waist and her legs on mine, and I put my free hand on hers. I kissed her head.
