It was 5 days later.
I was in my room, lying on my bed, scrolling through Twitter on my phone.
There was a faint knock on the door.
I got up and walked to it. When I opened it, I saw Beth with a grey and white husky next to her.
I felt thrilled.
My smile widened.
"Is this for me, babe?" I asked, smiling.
"Yeah." She said, smiling.
I wrapped my arms around her neck and kissed her.
"I fucking love you so much," I said, smiling.
"I fucking love you so much." She replied, smiling.
I removed my arms and patted the dog's head.
"He's a boy. I already asked your mums before buying him, and they both said yes. I bought some bowls, a bed, and lots of toys. If you want, we can go down to the pet shop and buy a collar and lead, " she said, smiling.
"Yeah, I do. Thank you so much." I replied, smiling.
It was 20 minutes later, we were back home.
We went to the pet shop, and she bought me a black and white matching collar and lead.
We were in the lounge room, and I was putting on the collar while Beth and my mums watched, smiling.
"Do you love him?" Mother asked, smiling.
"Yes. I thought of a name for him. Ben." I replied, smiling.
Beth and my mums said that they loved it.
After I finished putting the collar on, we played with him.
