You know when you get really fucking angry, so angry that it's like you're this mad tornado wanting to destroy everything?

Yeah, that's how I was before Angelo fucking sedated me. Now I'm numb, I keep trying to muster anger but there's nothing.

"What the fuck did you give me?" I ask for the millionth time.

I would be yelling, but my voice is flat, monotone.

I'm chained to a chair in my locker room and no one's unlocking me until Joey gets back.

"You don't need to worry," Angelo mutters, typing away on a computer that's plugged into the wall. He's sitting on the ground, still looking stressed.

"It was something to calm you down," Coco says, fiddling with her bracelets, her eyes flitting towards me and the cuff around my wrist.

She doesn't like this stuff.

"Did the calming thing work?" Nicks asks brightly.

"Don't fucking talk to me," I say, still in that bored, flat voice.

I'm aware that I could be angry, but I can't fucking remember what it feels like.

"Is your vision okay?" Coco asks. "You seeing things clearly?"

"What are you talking about?" I sigh.

"She's worried you're gonna start hallucinating," Savvy says blowing a pink bubble of gum.

"Hallucinating?" I echo. "No, I'm not."

The door bangs open and Joey and Lana come in.

"I gotta team scouring the areas," he says. "I got everyone looking for your girl."

"They'll find her, we've got helicopters and dogs and everyone who can do anything," Lana promises.

I don't fucking trust Joey, but I'll trust her, only cause she's Bree's friend and I know she wants to find her.

"Unlock this chain," I demand.

"If you agree to fight," Joey says.

"No."

"You've been out for half an hour and sitting in here for another, what's another ten minutes of a fight gonna do?" Savvy says, crossing her arms over her chest. "Just get the fight over and done with and then we can find her."

I glare at her and she shoots me an apologetic look.

I wasn't expecting her to be in on this.

"There's so much riding on this fight." She adds.

Like what? I almost scoff. Everything pales in comparison to Bree being gone.

It's like Joey knows what I'm thinking.

"As we've said, our reputation and several millions of dollars." Joey clears his throat drawing my attention back to him.

"Yeah right, I'll do it." I lie.
