Nawal - Missing Moments

1. First Date

Hi everyone, I have been a fan of Nawal since I randomly saw one of their reels on instagram. The show's over but I'm still not over them. I just started rewatching the episodes wishing for new scenes with their amazing chemistry. Since there won't be any new scenes, I decided to write some on my own. These will basically be Nawal romance.

NAWAL - MISSING MOMENTS

This scene is from the episode when Pandyas and Makhwanas are meeting to discuss Natasha and Dhawal's rishta. This takes place the day after Natasha sneaked into Dhawal's room to thank him for saving Dhama's life.

1 - First Date

"Jao tum dono ghum ke ao. Shadi se pehle jitna ek durse ko jaan liya jae utna bhi kam hai. Ye shaadi se pehle wale din phir dobara nahi aenge" said Amrish Bhai, smiling and putting an arm around Dhawal and Natasha, ushering them towards the door.

"Abhi to hum logon ko both time lag jaega shadi ki tayyari ki baatein karne me. Tum dono aaram se enjoy karo tab tak"

All the Pandyas and Makhwanas were at a restaurant, meeting to fix the marriage of Dhawal and Natasha. The night before, Dhama had caught Natasha sneaking out of the Makhwana house after meeting Dhawal and made her confess her feelings. Natasha finally accepted that Dhawal had proposed and she too has started to develop feelings for him and agreed to marry him.

What she did not know was that Amrish had asked Dhawal to marry her to take Pandya Store. Dhawal would do anything for his Mots and had started to pursue Natasha for marriage, but in his heart, he knew that what he was doing was wrong and would hurt Natasha incredibly if she found out.

In the past few days, he had found out a quite a few surprising things about Natasha Pandya. The first and most heartbreaking being that she had lost almost all her family years ago in a tragedy. She lived with her 2 younger brothers and paraplegic grandmother, managing Pandya Store and her house as well as being the college topper. She was headstrong, opinionated, had a sharp tongue, was fiercely protective about her family, was quite funny and too irritating at times. And attractive. He couldn't deny that there were times recently where he caught himself....fantasizing. But nothing that was a deal breaker. He could not see why any guy should refuse to marry this Maddy, himself included.

Except one thing. She had one kidney.

She had told Dhawal this the minute he had first proposed to her. He hadn't taken her seriously at that time but she insisted on it. He could see that she told this to him to deter his advances and also why she felt the need to disclose this to him before marriage. He was shocked at this piece of information but didn't let her know. He kind of understood why she thought that this could be a reason he, or for that matter, any guy, would back out. But it didn't really matter to him. In front of her, he was nonchalant and waved it off. But that night he found himself thinking about it a lot. He spent hours searching online about kidney donor recipients, their lifestyle, precautions and risks. The way her condition had worsened when they were trapped in the library, he realized that could happen again and if they were married, she would be his responsibility and....and...he had promised her Dhama that he would take care of her. Even if he didn't love her, he wasn't the type of guy to go back on his words.

But he was not ready to get married so soon! Not ready for such a big responsibility. He didn't know how to take care of himself, how could he ensure her well being too! She would expect him to be a loving husband and he didn't know if he could be that. But he also could not deny his Mots the only thing he had ever asked of Dhawal. Ahhhh....ye kese dharam sankat me phas gaya hu yar, he thought.

Natasha sneaked a glance at Dhawal wanting to see if he too was feeling the same sense of shyness she did at Amrish Bhai's words. He was fidgeting, muttering something to himself. She looked to Dhama silently asking her if they should go.
