Natasha was devastated. In a minute, everything had changed. What turn had her life taken? It was no less than 360 degrees. Yesterday and today were worlds apart in her life. So many things, so many revelations were raining down on her that it was hard to get a grasp on her reality.

Why was it always her?

Had he never loved her?

Was it all, every day, every minute, every second of it a lie?

What would it take for the world to finally give her a moment of happiness?

And most of all, what would happen to her Dhama?

And...and Chiku..? What about him? What was his story?

Hundreds of questions were spinning in her head, making her disoriented from her surroundings.

She walked inside her room at Pandya Niwas and sat with thump on the bed. All the tears that she was controlling since morning, at home, at the hospital, all spilled out of her eyes, unstopping. A sob wracked her chest and she couldn't stop the wail that erupted from her.

Till yesterday, she had a husband who seemed smitten with her. So caring he was, they were finally going to move forward in their relationship. She had loving sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws who protected her like their sister, a mother-in-law who was like her own mother. She had thought the family she had lost years ago was returned to her in the form of this new family of hers.

But it was all a farce, a scheme just to get her Pandya store. She...she could not believe that Dhawal had done this to her. He had made her fall in love with him...made her trust him blindly. All those assurances he gave her about her condition, all the moments they spent together, his touches, his care, ...it was all an act? The truth was in front of her but she couldn't make her heart believe that he would stoop that low. She didn't want to believe that he was lying about all of it. He wouldn't have just married her blindly on Mots' orders, would he?

Well, he had accepted all this in front of his whole family. And that moment had destroyed her. Destroyed her belief, her confidence, her trust, everything. But he said, all this had changed for him, he was not the same as when they got married. Did he say it all out of guilt? She didn't know what was true from false. What truth to believe and what not to.
