Note : It totally skipped my mind that Natasha was living with Makhwanas during this time. So just ignore that plot hole.

20. Life Lessons - Part II

The swimsuit round was a success. All the Makhwana ladies and Natasha looked stunning in the custom made swimsuits and the judges appreciated their efforts to make inclusive swimwear that would make women feel comfortable. And a big hit was their grand entry which was of course, orchestrated by Dhawal.

Dhawal just wasn't able to keep his eyes off Natasha since she had come out of the changing room. She was looking so gorgeous in that beachwear...he wished he could take her out to the beach on a date and they could enjoy some moments together. But he knew it wasn't going to be easy to make her to come. But he did succeed when she agreed to have dinner on the pretext of thanking him for all his help. She made it clear though that they were just going as friends and he should not be expecting anything else from her.

He had also finally talked to his boss for some advance, explaining his situation and since she was already smitten by the Dhawal Makhwana charm, she had agreed without much protest. He needed to use this wisely now and he used part of it to arrange for a cozy dinner for two.

Natasha had gone straight to the girls' tailoring shop after the competition to oversee next few days dresses. A lot of work had to be done and there was very little time. She had thought that she would finish up the work and then meet Dhawal for a quick dinner but she got so consumed that she didn't realise when time flew by. When he showed up asking about her, she felt so guilty that she had stood him up. She hadn't intended to hurt his feelings like that.

Dhawal ko lag raha hoga ke main jaan boojh ke nahi aayi dinner pe! Dhyan hi nahi aaya mujhe ke late ho gaya hai!

She was even more surprised when she saw all the arrangements he had done! He must've spent so much for this! To not let everything go to waste, she invited everyone for dinner not realising how Dhawal would feel about it.

Itna kharcha kese kiya hoga Dhawal ne? Abhi to job shuru ki hai...ye ladka bhi na pagal hai bilkul!

Dhawal on the other hand was crestfallen. Not only his plan for a romantic dinner was ruined, he also gave up the dinner he had bought for the two of them to Shashank and both the girls. Everything went to waste...but at least Natasha was happy, he guessed. That's what he had wanted na. He sighed.

"Chalo, good luck to all of you! Kal bhi aaj ki tarah you all will rock! See you guys tomorrow!" Dhawal said, winding up the things as everyone prepared to leave. "Natasha...tum ghar kese jaogi? I'll come with you. Late ho gaya hai." He could not really talk to her or do anything else with everyone else still present.

"Dhawal..."

She had noticed that he had barely eaten anything. Well, the food was only enough for three people and it was then that she realised what a blunder she had made by asking everyone to come. To prevent any embarrassment, she had skipped eating much too. But more than that, she was worried about the amount of money he must've spent for their dinner and the guilt was eating her up. He had wanted to celebrate her achievement with the two of them and she had ruined it.

"Pandya House yahi next gali mein hi hai...main chali jaungi yaha se. Par..tumne to kuch khaya hi nahi theek se..." she said, as they approached near her home.

"Main abhi jaa ke kha lunga kuch. Par tumne bhi to nahi khaya kuch theek se...?" he answered back. "I had gotten everything tumhari pasand ka"

"Mujhe pata nahi tha tumne itna sab kuch kara hua hai...kya zarurat thi Dhawal?! Mene bola tha na this is nothing but only a dinner between friends!" she insisted
