Bogum came running up to Sehun, his normally cheerful face pale and drawn. "Sehun, you've got to know this," he gasped.
Sehun arched an eyebrow, his eyes narrowing in suspicion. "know what?" he asked, voice low and menacing.
Bogum hesitated for a moment, then said in a rush, "It's Taehyung. He's with the commander."
Sehun's expression darkened, and his hands clenched into fists at his sides. "Taehyung, and the commander?" he repeated. "You're sure?" Bogum nodded, his Adam's apple bobbing nervously in his throat.
Sehun's eyes flashed, and he took a deep breath, his chest rising and falling rapidly. "So, my little Taehyungie has found himself in love, has he?" he mused, more to himself than to Bogum. "We'll just have to confirm that, won't we?"
Without another word, Sehun turned on his heel and disappeared into the forest, leaving Bogum standing there, confused and worried.
In the bustling corridors of the royal army, Sehun strolled down the corridor, his confident stride echoing through the halls. As he turned the corner, he spotted Jungkook sitting on a chair, focused on adjusting some important documents.
"Commander, have you seen Taehyung?" Sehun inquired with a sly smile, knowing very well that Jungkook might not have the answer he sought.
Jungkook hesitated for a moment, his brow furrowing in confusion. "N-no, I don't know. Why would I know?" he responded, trying to mask any hint of uncertainty in his voice.Sehun chuckled softly, the sound sending shivers down Jungkook's spine. Casually dropping a pen to the ground, Sehun looked at Jungkook and said, "Jungkook, would you mind picking that up for me?"
Jungkook, feeling a sense of defiance rising within him, shot back, "You can do it yourself, Sehun."With a hint of malice in his eyes, Sehun's voice turned cold. "I don't repeat myself twice, Jungkook," he warned.
Reluctantly, Jungkook bent down to retrieve the fallen pen, his muscles tensed in anticipation. But as he reached for it, Sehun cruelly stepped on Jungkook's hand, causing him to cry out in pain. The sharp twist of Sehun's foot made Jungkook's eyes well up with tears, a mixture of agony and humiliation clouding his gaze.Just as the tension in the room peaked, Taehyung suddenly appeared out of nowhere, his eyes widening in concern as he took in the scene before him. "What is happening here?" he demanded, his voice firm yet laced with worry as he noticed the tears glistening in Jungkook's eyes.
As Jungkook massaged his throbbing hand, Sehun's gaze lingered on him, almost as if he was relishing the pain he had caused. Jungkook, feeling a mix of confusion and discomfort, couldn't understand Sehun's reaction.
Sehun, ever the master of manipulation, flashed a deceivingly charming smile. "I was just admiring your beautiful commander here," he said , his words dripping with insincerity.
Taehyung's jaw clenched in anger at the sight of Jungkook's distress which Sehun immediately noticed and smirked.
"Right now, I need Commander Jungkook for some urgent work. Sehun, you are dismissed," he ordered, his tone leaving no room for argument.
Sehun's smirk faltered slightly at Taehyung's authoritative demeanor, but he complied with a sinister gleam in his eyes. "As you wish, King," he murmured, shooting Jungkook one last dirty look before making a swift exit, leaving behind a trail of tension and unease in his wake.
"What did he do to you?" Taehyung demanded, his voice low and dangerous. Jungkook swallowed hard, struggling to find the words.
"He...he stepped on my hand," he managed to choke out. Taehyung's face contorted into a furious expression, and before Jungkook could react, taehyung was grabbing him by the arm, pulling him towards the room.
As they entered the room, Jungkook could feel Taehyung's anger radiating off him in waves. "Why didn't you do anything? You are stronger than him" he shouted, slamming Jungkook against the wall. The younger boy winced from the impact, but his fear was quickly replaced by a sense of determination. He looked up at Taehyung, tears streaming down his face. "I didnt want to cause any trouble and I cannot hit my brother in law."
Taehyung's eyes softened at jungkook's innocence, and he pulled Jungkook into a tight embrace. "I'm sorry, baby, I wasnt there at the right time," he whispered, kissing the top of Jungkook's head. "I'm here now. Hyung will take care of everything." And with those words, Jungkook felt a wave of relief wash over him. He knew that with Taehyung by his side, they could face anything together.
As they held each other, Taehyung began to stroke Jungkook's hair, the familiar motion soothing him like nothing else. "I'm going to talk to Sehun," he murmured, his voice low and steady. "And I'm going to make sure he understands that he can't hurt you like that."
Jungkook nodded against Taehyung's chest, feeling safe and protected for the first time since the incident.
Taehyung found himself applying antiseptic cream on Jungkook's hand. "So, my brother is going to be your brother-in-law?" Taehyung teased with a mischievous grin.
Jungkook, with an innocent nod, replied, "After our marriage, he will be."
Taehyung raised an eyebrow playfully, "How can you be so sure I will marry you? We haven't even said the three magical words." Jungkook's cheeks flushed bright red upon hearing the mention of the magical words, but then he realized and playfully pouted, "So, are you saying you won't marry me?"Feeling mischievous, Taehyung leaned in and placed a soft kiss on Jungkook's hand, whispering, "Of course I will. You will be my Queen." Jungkook couldn't help but hide his face in Taehyung's chest, feeling a rush of warmth and happiness spread through him.
