Lia's trembling was hurting Selene to no bounds , every tear rolling down lia's face was adding to it .
She took lia in her embrace, stroking her back .
"It's okay , stop crying. I am here"
"Mom" lia's low voice came .
The word was like magic to selene's ears . It calmed her nerves down .but at the same time made her more angry on the countess.
After calming lia down ,she turned towards the countess.
"What do you think you were doing,with my child" the coldness of Selene's voice,
Made the countess weak in her knees .
The temperature of room dropped as aura emitted from Selene's body .
"I am her etiquette teacher , I was just teaching her "
It was absurd,how she was lying in a situation like this where her head could be rolling on the ground any second.
"Mom ,it's cold" aurelia's bare whisper somewhat helped in cooling Selene down .

Selene was angry on karl too , how he hired such a vicious woman to teach lia .
And how could he not realise how threatening it could be for her. He should have atleast done a background check .

Lia was gone and now there was nothing controlling her . It was like letting a leased wild tiger run free.

The countess who was till now in bowing position fell down from the impact of slap .

"How dare you hit me " the countess screamed trying to stand up with her heavy ass gown .

Selene laughed at the stupidity.
