Aurelia's pov

Strolling in the garden,is another level of satisfaction. I should bring mom and dad too sometime with me.
I was in my thoughts when I spotted a figure on a far off bench under the cherry blossom.
Looking closely it was the first uncle .
What was he doing here .I thought the elders were in the glasshouse.

I approached him .
"Good morning uncle "

"Good morning aurelia" he smiled.

"What are you doing here" I asked.

He patted the place near him , signalling me to sit .
I climbed up by the help of him .

"Nothing,just I feel guilty about something"

"Were you wrong"

"Yes"

"Then you deserve it "

"Who taught you this?"

"Mom"

"Mom?"
He was confused but realised I was talking about his sister.

"You call ,Selene mom"

"Hmm "

"Is Selene a good mother"

"Hmm she is the best . I love her a lot ,she loves me too"

"What about others,do they like Selene too"
I looked at him ,by others he meant father , I am sure of it . He was too bad at hiding his emotions,he was like a open book .

"Everyone in the castle loves mom , she is kind and pretty who wouldn't like her ,on top of that she is responsible, strong and rich . If I were to say the positive things about her , the vocabulary would fall short. I love her too much ,so can you not take her away"

"I am not here to take her away"

"But you don't like father" I said faking innocence, of course I knew they were best friends.

"It's not that I don't like him , it's something about him that worries me about Selene's future "

"Can it be worked upon "

He went silent did it mean yes .

"Father can work on it uncle, if it's for mom "
He looked towards the sky and signed. Then looked at me standing up .
"You are right lia , karl works on himself harder than anyone else ,if he really likes Selene,he might as well as just never get lost again and if lene likes him that much she'll pull him out by every means possible. Thank you little one , I think I should apologise to one I have hurt "

"Good decision, if you weren't going to I would have smacked your head "

"You little " with that he patted my head .
With that small gesture a question escaped his lips .

"Are you perhaps interested in learning magic and be a magician "

Karl's pov

I was really embarrassed. Not only did I cry infront of her , I fell asleep.
In morning when I woke up I was tugged in my bed .
And from past two hours I have been avoiding Selene even during the breakfast.
I have embarrassed myself anyway so why not more .
And anyway I was a grown up and I realised , I felt attracted to her .

I was in my study, when the butler walked in .
"The tea at the glasshouse will be ready in 5 minutes"

I nodded.

5 minutes passed and upon realising I stood up but someone burst in through the door. It was no one but Selene.

"Are you coming"

I nooded in response arranging the documents .

"Are you avoiding me ?"

"No" I said grabbing my coat .

"Do you think I am dumb or blind "

"How dare I ?" I said looking here and there for the box my spectacles were to be placed in .

With just few swift steps she was infront of me pointing her finger , poking my chest .
"You..are annoying" She said annoyed.
Withdrawing her hand back folding them , a slight pout and frown settling on her face .

I chuckled.

"I am not avoiding you , it's just that you are too dangerous for me "
I drew my face near to her face , studying the details of it .
Her eyebrows which were bought together by a frown. A small pout on her pink lips which looked so kissable right now .
So I went with my impulsive thought, I leaned in .
This action would change the course of my life , I knew it but Let's take the risk .

More than a kiss a flick came my way.
"Whatever" she rolled her eyes .
What the .. it was my first time taking initiative , am I rejected even before confession.

"Remove your spectacles first "

"Huh"

"Aish ,dumbo "
With that even before I could process a peck landed on my lips .
My exe stopped working.
Until came back to reality, she was near the door .
Before opening she said loudly,
"Come soon ,mom and dad are waiting"

I smiled cherishing my lips with my thumb, so should I officially start pursuing her.
